Ok, so I just took delivery yesterday & quickly tested out several features just to be sure this was a keeper. I'm coming from a $700+ OTR LG microwave/convection with sensor cooking & after it died (3rd one in 5 years) I decided to go the countertop route & get a great range hood. This arrived very well packaged & after setting the clock I did a simple test with 2 cups of water (in a 2 cup measuring cup). I tested the temp after 2 minutes on high (been using this for years with thr LG as it heated consistently to 135⁰. The new Breville got to 145⁰ in 2 minutes, a little faster but not quite as much of a difference as I would have thought. Next I tried a filled 4 cup measuring cup to boil water. It took the LG 8-9.5 minutes, depending on how it was feeling that day. The Breville did it in a tad over 7 minutes for a full boil. Not bad but neither products can come close to the short amount of time it takes my induction range to accomplish the same tasks. Next up was 'air fry', something Ive never used & always felt it was just convection heating. Tried 3 frozen breaded chicken patties (for a chicken sandwich). Cooking on air fry, I had no idea how long to cook but the package said 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, including flipping it halfway, it was hot but not crisp. Heated another 5 minutes & it got somewhat crisp on 1 side so I gave up & just flipped them over & used the grill function for 3 minutes to crisp up the other side. My Wolf counter top oven cooks them perfectly in 10 minutes on convection. Next up was mozzarella sticks, again using airfry. I started with 3 minutes, not wanting to risking them exploding in my new micrwave. Still partially frozen. Did 3 minutes more. No longer frozen but floppy, even after turning. I set for 3 more minutes but kept my eye on them & after another minute the cheese started oozing out. Removed the pan but the sticks were still soft & floppy with zero crunch. Next test was a handful of french fries. The Wolf convection takes 15 minutes to cook these, after a roughly 10 minute preheat. After 18 minutes, including turning, these were still floppy in the Breville. Added 5 minutes, still floppy. Finally after another 3 minutes they were crisp. I then heated the oven to the max 450⁰ & tested the temp with an infrared thermometer. My Wolf registers between 435⁰ & 455⁰. The Breville, 335⁰ to 355⁰. So, jury is still out as to whether it gets returned & I look for something better.

I’m loving this a little more each time I use it. Everything is easy to understand and performs flawlessly. Only snafu is that it was delivered to the wrong address - fortunately I was notified before UPS returned to pick it up. I’m 74, with bad knees. Lifting it up, carrying it from a porch to my truck then hauling it up the steps at my house was not fun.

I was initially hesitant to get this appliance because of the cost, but the Best Buy tech assured me of how the various features would allow me for endless uses. I am still learning exactly how to use the air fryer more exactly. There are many feature and power settings for ALL KINDS of cooking use.

We are happy with our purchase of a Breville Microwave oven. It is very easy to use and does a nice job of air frying the food we have tried in it. We look forward to trying some of it's other features. I would recommend this microwave oven to anyone looking to purchase a multifunction microwave.

This is an excellent multifunction device. I am liking not very much so far but need more time to use it in the many different function settings. Having so many functions it could be complex for those not experienced with the cooking times required for the different types of food in the different settings. The manual did not help me much. I would like to find more information and would try to look online. It’s a solid equipment, well made. The digital window makes things so much easier. I bought this equipment to save counter space; I assumed it would toast, but it does not. I did not like that the fan space in the back makes the oven a little too deep for my space and it’s easy to under estimate it at the time of purchase.

the soft close door is the greatest thing on such a device! the other features work well as expected, however the toast/grill function is super slow compared to a real toaster oven. So if you're looking to save space this is nice, otherwise if you prefer separates you'll be more satisfied with the dedicated toasters and toaster ovens

This is the coolest microwave ever! Buy it! When you need to reheat food, there is a button for that so it combines the microwave and convection oven features for you — so it doesn’t just “zap” it as a regular microwave would and cook it unevenly. I can’t believe this even exists! And the slow closing door... icing on the cake!

I bought this after my GE microwave hit the electronic graveyard. I was skeptical because I wasn’t sure how a microwave could be an air fryer, and an oven as well. It was mind boggling for me. But I made the purchase and it’s the best decision I’ve made in awhile. Definitely worth the money!

I love this microwave! I have used the air fryer - which worked perfectly. And the bacon setting cooked slices well. I also have used it to bake a quick batch of cookies, melt butter, pop popcorn, defrost...all settings are spot on. The convection oven is brilliant - cooks meat well. As a hobbyist chef, I really appreciate the utility of this unit.

I only used it a couple of days, it has a lot of capability's, I like the way it by display tells you what to do for what food your preparing to put in it. Great machine IF it has the feature you want but I did not feel the Microwave part was as good as my current Microwave oven. In my current Microwave Oven I would set 38sec to warm my coffee, but at 38sec in the 3 in 1 I felt it wasn't as hot. The features I needed were not in the 3 in 1, so I returned it and purchased the Beeville Smart oven at $399. The difference for me was the 3 in 1 you were limited to what you wanted to put in by space , it had to fit on the revolving tray, not much room. The Model I returned it for although it didn t have Microwave capabilities it did come with several tray/rack inserts the allowed you to put as much as the interior allowed. The model I have does not tell you what to do when inserting different foods, so I haven't used it much at this time, still learning its capabilities, but it makes great toast, bacon from my experience so far. I recomend this Machine it what it does compared to the other Models Breville offers fits you need, they are different Machines.

Mother looked at this product after needing to return another item because of the power intake. This microwave looks far better than her white microwave from the 90's. I am super jealous of her since this microwave looks so sleek in the kitchen, has many different features, and most importantly is dynamic.

Haven't explored all of the settings/features yet, but have been very pleased with this microwave. Love the quiet shut feature and the "finished tone" not super loud, persistent like many microwaves are - doesn't disrupt the whole house.
