When looking for a replacement for our old and outdated microwave, we looked long and hard for something that would fit in the small built-in space for a good fit. What my wife liked about this one initially was the soft-close feature. The internal space is deeper than other microwaves we looked at, and is more powerful than the previous one we replaced. So far we love it and it’s easy to use.

A really great microwave. We read about how most microwaves are basically the same, being made in the same factory in China. The difference is in the cosmetic aspects of the machine. But those actually make a difference, This microwave has small footprint, but it is powerful enough to get things warm quickly. I LOVE the simple interface on the front - no fuss, and easy to navigate. The door handle has s soft close, and is very satisfying to open and close. But the best thing about the interface is that there is a dial which you can turn on-the-fly to increase or decrease the operating time. So if you need a few more seconds, just turn the knob while the microwave is operating and more time is added. That is really useful. Overall, I am very happy I bought this microwave, and recommend it without hesitation.

Fabulous on the countertop and attractive look. High quality with easy to use menu... Turning handle for quick minutes selections for food cooking... A silent close door. Easy-use menu for defrosting and quick cooking. Well, worth the price!

Easy to use and looks great on the counter top and it really is soft close

This is perfect for what I needed. I mostly use the microwave for defrosting, heating leftovers, boiling water for a hot cup of tea... Never use it for cooking since I prefer other appliances for that. My plates fit in perfectly and heat seems well distributed. Buttons are all easy to understand. In general I love Breville products. So, I am happy.

Love my new microwave! It fits in my new kitchen perfectly and does whatever I want it to do. And it’s soooo quiet. I’m very happy with it and even though it’s a bit pricey, so far it’s worth every cent I paid!

A little smaller inside space than expected but very easy to use and like soft close door and buzzer stops when door opens. Also very easy to silence buzzer.

Love this microwave! Large enough for a full sized dinner plate but yet compact. It fits perfectly in the cabinet above my wall oven. My favorite feature is the ability to mute the sound...no more annoying beeping! The soft close door is a winner too!

Breville is the best!! I live my new countertop Breville microwave. It is beautifully designed, and so pleasant to use. The door closes softly and easily. The controls are super easy with a knob to turn.

We love it! Perfect for our countertop! And that soft close feature is great too. The only thing is that it’s a bit weak due to the wattage, but for heating my coffee, it does its job.

This microwave is everything it was advertised to be: soft close works well, no more CLACK, opening and closing, and the mute button for the timer is a godsend, no more BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. Stays cleaner too, with the stainless steel. Cooks faster than my 23+ year old Panasonic. I love it.

I needed a small countertop micro after my two year old LG died. Love this little micro, it’s quiet and looks nice.

Our 10 year old Kenmore microwave died and we needed a new one quick. I searched for a compact one to fit our counter space. I narrowed the choice down to an LG and the Breville. This one was $50 more but I chose it for its quiet operation. The soft door close is a breakthrough - no typical microwave “clunk”, especially when my teenagers use it late at night. Also the mute function, eliminating all beeps and chimes. I have enough beeps in my day as it is. While I wasn’t able to compare side by side, it feels like the Breville is quieter than my old Kenmore when cooking as well. Glad I paid the extra $50. The timer knob is pretty cool too. My only disappointment is it’s kind of a flat gray rather than typical stainless cabinet, and doesn’t match our stainless Breville toaster oven as a result.

Happy with this microwave. Especially like the mute feature and the soft, automatic close of the door. No more annoying beeping. Works well, easy to use knob feature and looks good too.
