This is one sharp looking microwave and it is the perfect size for my needs. I absolutely love the soft close door! It looks great on my kitchen counter. Breville is a brand I know I can trust for a quality product.

Looks great and more upscale than most countertop microwaves. Compact but still fits a large dinner plate with no problem. I like the soft close door and the option to silence the buttons.

I love the dial for setting the timer. The soft close door is great! Very accurate cooking. A little pricier than other small microwaves, but I think the extra price for quality is worth it.

I was skeptical but so glad I splurged and spent the few extra dollars for this microwave. Food taste so much better then what I have cooked in a microwave in the past! As other users have said, once used to how it works is fabulous! Looks great in the kitchen as well!

For a small microwave I find it very powerful. I also love that it’s super quiet and stylish.

I bought this as a second microwave for my home office. It is well built and solid. You can feel the difference from other microwaves as soon as you take it out of the box. But, I'd have to say that it's performance is just ok. The first time I used it for popcorn it burnt the popcorn and ruined the microwave safe bowl (silicone) that I use all the time in my cuisinart microwave. This may just be a matter of getting used to different cooking times, my point being that you should determine the proper cooking time for this microwave, and not to other microwaves you may own or have owned. The compact size may be the problem. The popcorn I mentioned cooked perfectly in my cuisinart microwave (not a compact) at 2.5 minutes, but burnt in this microwave. They have comparable wattages. Not sure if this is worth 3 x the price as the cuisinart. I use if mostly for reheating things.

i love this microwave, as i love all the breville appliances i have purchased (toaster oven, espresso maker, this microwave). the wonderful thing about this microwave is that it genuinely avoids the traditional SLAM of other microwaves. The gentle close WORKS. it is wonderful, and i recommend this microwave to the moon and back.

Small apartment w counter space that has to be maximized—this Breville microwave is perfect. Small footprint, nice functions, solidly built. And looks great too.

I was in the market for a compact microwave oven that replaced a hardworking 7 year old LG microwave oven that expired a few days ago. So, I had to get a quick replacement. I read reviews for this product and glad to say that I am happy with the quality and the ease of operating this small appliance. Another feature that I like is the light inside- white and bright. I have another Breville appliance that is a juice maker. Happy with the quality of this brand.

It’s a smaller microwave which is what I needed and it does the job quite well. Very quiet and the slow close door prevents slamming the door. Very much worth the cost

We purchased this for a pull out drawer in a cabinet. It fits perfectly. We have not had this small of unit before and have been surprised by its power and quick heating capability. Still trying to learn the timing/size relationship. So far so good. Door does have the soft close feature. You can adjust heating setting manually but it also has plenty of presets. We generally like all our Breville appliances and this is no exception. Of all of the small microwaves we shopped this seemed like it had the best options.
