Yes its pricey but its ckmpletely worrh it. The new software makes set up and use crazy easy. If you prefer to manaully froth your milk in a never ending searxh to perfect your latte art, then this machine isnt for you. But, if you dont mind having a decice that brews coffee beans, and froths several different types of milk perfectly with little intervention- look no further.

The machine has an internal temperature gauge that allows you to set your temp between 150-165, which is ideal, but I like my beverages a bit hotter :)

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had the Oracle for 15 years (actuallt two), so when we couldnt get parts decided to get the new oracle jet. Lots of things are just as great as our oracle, but why did Breville change things that worked well? The tray is now a 2-piece assembly that’s just that much more complicated to empty, plus since it’s smaller we empty way more often. But the biggest irritant is the steam wand ingests milk or whatever your steaming. Yuck! And this causes it to clog at least once every couple weeks. Plus, just like tray, they’ve made jt way more complicated to disassemble and clean. Why?? It used to have a single piece on the end, now you have get out a tool to take the tip apart. Very annoying. I like the machine, but wishing we’d stayed with the oracle (although breville may have changed that one too) probably saved them money to inckude more plastic. Very cheesy!

It makes delicious cappuccinos and espresso. Every cup is amazing, no need to go to Starbucks except to buy the coffee beans. Love the blue color!
