Great tasting cup of coffee, perfect brew temp and blooming

I just switched from a k-cup machine back to grounds. Coffee is hot once made. But the stainless steel carafe does not keep hot that long.

After reading reviews and doing research - I decided to take the plunge on this machine, but I quickly swam back to the surface to make the return window. Here's why. For one, the carafe lid retained coffee after I washed it and set it out to air dry, and coffee from the last pot would slowly leak out and leave a small puddle. When I gave it a gentle shake, I could hear coffee swishing around in the lid, so each time I made a new carafe I knew that old coffee residue would permeate my fresh pot. Second, the water reservoir does not detach, which wouldn't be a problem if the water fully emptied from the tank. This left my water reservoir constantly wet and lined with water so it could never fully dry. Third, the coffee does not remain piping hot. Admittedly I didn't mess with the temperature settings, but I did miss having a hot plate to keep the coffee warmer for longer. Overall, the taste and cold brew setting was nice, but I determined that the Ninja 12 cup brewer for less than a third of the price had the same shower head water feature and produced an equally strong and flavorful cup of coffee. I was prepared to make the investment for this machine, but I did not find that it was worth the money.

This is an amazing brewer, especially with one cup makes. Also does a great job for larger brews. My only gripe: the lid of the large carafe doesn't disassemble. To get the old coffee or likely wash water out, you have to shake the top for MINUTES at a time. And it wont brew larger pots without the top of the carafe interfaced with the brewer, so removing it for brewing isnt an option.

Best coffeemaker we have ever owned and wish we had found it sooner!

I wanted a really good drip coffee maker to make coffee for the whole family. After a lot of research, opted for the Breville. Glad I did.

Love it!! So simple and easy to use and clean. Makes a delicious cup of coffee. We love the “Gold” brew method. Highly recommend!

This machine does bro a good cuppa coffee but it is kind of cumbersome to use. Found that the ninja coffee maker seems to make a smoother cup so brought this back in order to purchase the other

it's working as it should but i'm just not sure it's worth the price tag. you can't remove the water cleaner and clean it - that would have been a nice - but i knew that before i bought it. I'm just searching for the perfect cup of coffee. I bought the conical coffee grinder and I buy the freshest whole beans I can find. it's not wowing me. for the price tag I wanted to be wow'd.

The only coffee pot I will ever purchase again. Coffee stays hot for hours. Love this product
