I purchased this coffee maker over 7 years ago, and it consistently makes the best cup of coffee. I have tried every other major brand, but they were quickly returned due to producing bitter, poor quality, or burnt tasting coffee. This coffee maker, especially when paired with Lavazza coffee, is pure perfection. It's worth every single penny. A good coffee maker is an investment, not just an appliance.

I've had my brewer for 5 months now and honestly, it's fantastic. I have had lots of brands and machines, but love this one by far! It brews great-tasting coffee every time, and I don't have any of the issues that I have seen in the reviews. What I love most about it is that it's versatile and looks great on my island. Highly recommend.

Great coffee brewer. I enjoy being able to adjust bloom time, water temp, and flow rate to my liking. This delivers a perfect cup of coffee each time. I would suggest using a scale to measure the amount of coffee vs. using scoops. It is much more accurate and helps produce consistent results time and time again.

This brewer looks great and is an okay size. (it's a little larger than my cuisinart maker). The initial setup and instructions were pretty easy. Some good features: It has cone and basket type filters so you can use either. It has many brew options for you to fine tune. It is pretty quick to brew a full pot (I haven't timed it but it says 7 minutes) All electronic controls which is nice but also takes some learning. The negatives: It s a little larger height and footprint than my older stainless cuisinart which I think is a pretty good standard but still fits under my cabinet which matters most. It is a steel carafe so you can't tell how much is left in the pot without taking it out and unscrewing the lid. The coffee flavor is not good or what I am used to with my previous brewer. I have tried several times to adjust my method and haven't improved the results. I will continue to tinker and hopefully improve, if not I'll go back to my old brewer since it has not died yet.

First not a big ground coffee person but this machine makes you a convert. Pretty straightforward to use as long as you have store bought ground coffee or you make your own. I must say the machine produces coffee that to me is richer with a fresher taste. The number of options available are delightful to experiment with. My favorite is the strong setting. The coffee maker can brew a single cup or a pot that stays warm for a very extended period maintains the rich, fresh taste. Never thought I would like ground coffee so much but am now a full believer. Pay attention to the initial set up especially with selecting the water hardness and you will not regret the extra effort needed to get it setup...you can reset if you find you did something wrong, like water hardness setting. Best feature is how long a pot stays warm and the speed...fantastic. Learn how to use the machine and your rewards will be endless. Basic cleanup that is easy once you do it several times.

Makes good coffee fast. I like all the options, single cup to 12 cup even cold brew option. And I like how you can make coffee and set insulated carafe on table and keeps it hot.

Also, differentiate between carafe and cup. It is extremely versatile. The 12 cup thermal carafe has a large opening on top which makes it a breeze to clean. Pair this coffee maker with the Breville Smart Grinder Pro and you will not be sorry!

Amazing coffee maker and super reliable. Had the last one for four years and am replacing only because a part is on back order. Daily 1-2 pot family and it lasted without any issues other than an easily replaceable part that is currently back ordered.

My wife and I drink a lot of coffee. We've been looking for a new brewer that can brew one cup or 12 cups and do it quickly. The Breville Precision Brewer definitely fit the bill for us. It has multiple brewing modes ranging from 'Fast' to 'Cold Brew' or you can customize the settings to your liking, but we prefer using the Gold setting with the cone filters (regular/flat filters are included in the box, so need to buy the cone filters separately). The thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for hours and has a wide opening so its much easier to clean than our previous coffee maker's carafe. Plus it looks great on our kitchen counter. Overall it makes a great cup of coffee and does it quickly. Highly recommended!

Before I picked this up I never heard about this company. Now after I have to say this is the top of the line coffee maker. What this machine can do is quite impressive. I didn't test the actual temperatures but this machine states it can make coffee at optimum temperature. But the coffee came out steaming hot but not scalding. Very smooth coffee. I shared quite a few cups with family and friends and they all wanted to buy this unit from me. There is some left over water in the reservoir but not a huge issue. I have only used the automatic feature which work great but there is so many features I have not even touched the surface. Pricey unit but I think worth the money.

Pricey but solid compared to my old machine that latest 6 years. No removable water tank nor a way to place a charcoal water filter. a bit messy with drips after removing craft and later the filter basket. First brew was very good. We shall see how long this will last.

Best coffee maker that I have ever owned. Easy to use and makes great coffee!

This is a very nice system. I like that it is different from the Keurig in that you use all the water in the system and it doesn't sit in the reservoir for days. It does take some time to figure out the amount of coffee to use as the chart is not very accurate. My wife likes her coffee strong but the chart made it to strong for her. All in all a very nice system. The carafe that comes with it keeps the coffee warm for quite a while and there is nothing better than using real ground beans.

I like this coffeemaker. The carafe keeps the coffee Hot longer then my others. Im still playing aroundexperimenting. Coffee has been verygood Lavazza was very smooth.

Great coffee pot! Makes perfect coffee and it’s a really pretty machine!

I am otherwise very happy with the unit, with one exception: It drips a tiny drip onto the base unit virtually every time I remove the carafe to pour coffee. Otherwise very satisfied.

With the coffee maker like this I can be persuaded. This thing is amazing easy to set up simple instructions and makes the best cup of coffee I have ever had in my entire life. Did I mention I don't drink coffee.

This product has a serious design flaw, don’t spend the money. For $300 I expected a trouble-free coffee maker and excellent product support, instead I received a largely inoperable coffee pot and non-responsive product support. Right out of the box this product had a sensor flaw that made it refuse to brew a pot of coffee. When I try to start it, I get a fill tank error even when the tank is full. In order to trick the sensor, I have to pour out all the water, try it, and then fill it up again. This makes the auto start function unusable. I understand that sensors go bad, but when I contacted product support they took days to respond, asked a question and then took several more days to respond, asked another question, stopped responding. They still have not replaced it. When it does work, the coffee tastes good, but I can buy a trouble-free coffeemaker that makes good coffee for half the price.
