Weak Watery Coffee
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a coffee drinker my entire adult life. I even have beans shipped to me within hours of being roasted which is why I was so confused by this coffee maker. I was like a kid at Christmas un-boxing it and setting it up. I followed all the instructions and used the correct baskets exact amount of grinds etc but not matter what setting I use the coffee comes out weak and has a watery finish. I thought it was the coffee so I bought different brand of fresh beans from a local roaster, bought new ground coffee, added extra grounds, nothing works. I do not see that a lot of other people have this issue and it receives a great star rating but for the price it is causing severe buyers remorse.

Fire hazard & stopped working within the 1st month
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchase this coffee maker in Dec '19, didn't begin using it until 1/5/2020 - on 1/25/2020, turned it on to make coffee this morning and it began malfunctioning, loud noise, and smoke a/o burning smell began coming from the unit. I immediately unplugged it - 30 mins later tried to plug it in again - same noise and heat/smell. Contacted BB, the chat rep said 'bring it to a store and they exchange it'. Arrived at BB store and two reps said they will NOT exchange it and I'll need to deal with the manufacturer. VERY disappointed in Best Buy - spent over $5K on washer & dryer a few months ago - really regret that now. I'll never spend another penny at BB - and will be sure to share my experience w/my friends & family.
