Not only the best looking automatic drip coffee make out there, but makes the best coffee we've had ... for automatic drip of course. I bought this for it's beauty, versatility and because my travel mugs fit underneath. Turns out that it also makes fantastic coffee. The versatile controls allow you to make great tasting coffee, and really bad coffee. You'll have to learn what works for each type, but it's worth learning. I thought the control could improve a cup of coffee, but didn't know there was so much room for improvement. We coupled this with a grinder to really start enjoying different roasts. The world is such a bigger place now! It also makes wonderful iced coffee. It takes a little longer to set up and clean than what we were using before, but it's worth the little extra effort, well worth it. I look forward to every chance to make a cup or a pot now. Weekends are that much more fun as I don't have to face a day's worth of office K-cups. And the carafe keeps coffee piping hot for a long, long time, without continuous heating like is needed for glass carafes. The carafe pours smooth and drip free. Why has nobody ever made one that pours like this before? If you can afford the luxury price, it's well worth the money. It exceeded my high expectations.

I have used Breville products for a long time and this coffee maker is one of the most used and abused appliances in my kitchen. The options and customization of this machine really allow you to create the ultimate cup or pot of coffee. It takes a little getting used to since you can do so much with it but once you have things dialed in you become a coffee expert! I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a new coffee machine. I have use the cold brew option a bunch too and love it!

This has turned out to be a great machine, I replaced an Keurig Elite, the coffee from this is much better tasting. The caraf keeps coffee warm, not hot, but it's good enough. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I grind my own coffee, and compared to pods, in the long run, it'll pay for itself in savings.

With the old pot dying it was time to replace with a serious java machine. We looked at the Mochamaster and the Breville. We like the concept of replacing the "hot plate" w/glass carafe with the insulated SS carafe. The coffee remains fresh and hot for up to 2 hrs. Plenty of time to enjoy your brew. When you use this Breville with fresh ground French Roast, it's like being in Paris at your favorite cafe. We have had this unit now for over a month and our glad we chose the Breville. The quality justifies the price.

This coffee maker is top-notch! It has several stock settings but you can also create a custom brew setting by adjusting the bloom time, drip rate and temperature. I worked at Starbucks for several years and this machine offers way more customization than what we used! It can brew small batches (aka single cups), iced coffee and has a setting to slowly drip-brew over the course of several hours if you want to make cold brew. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours. and I really like how the water tank is clearly visible and has a large opening, this makes it easy to fill and wipe out. Note that the water tank is NOT removable, but I view this as a good thing because that is one less thing to eventually leak/fail (it also has "prisms" built into the bottom of the storage tank to detect the water level inside; it will automatically disable certain brew options if the tank is too full so it doesn't overflow on the counter. For example, it won't let you brew Single Cup if you add more than 20oz of water in the tank). PRO TIP: Use carnauba wax or car polish on the stainless steel surfaces to protect it from water spot

I got this after seeing all the positive reviews and is frequently listed as the best drip brew coffee maker. Previously I've owned Cuisinart coffee makers but will never go back after this. Not only does it make great drip brew coffee, it also makes cold brew and iced coffee. As to the negative reviews citing the coffee isn't hot enough, I'm not sure where those claims are coming from. The temperature is consistently hot.

The number of ways you can make coffee using this Breville is mind-boggling. It will take cone, cup, or metal filter and has different brew settings for different roasts and grinds. The carafe is thermally insulated, so your 6 o'clock morning coffee will stay warm well into the afternoon. If anything, buy this machine for the thermal carafe alone.

Love this coffee maker. Pros - makes excellent cup and can custom brew, so tweak to find just the right drip. Iced coffee brews smooth. Cons - yes, it's sort of loud but you t end not to notice it after a few times. Another con - wish carafe kept coffee hot for longer.

This coffee maker works great. The insulated carafe keeps coffee hot for at least 2 hours. I like the level of customization that you get. Being able to set the brew temperature, speed, and allow for blooming has been really nice. On the pricey side, but I've been enjoying the coffee it can make.

We have been using this coffee maker for a few weeks now and I am quite impressed with the quality of the unit and the coffee it brews. The unit was a little larger than I expected, a good 4 inches taller than a Kuerig. I love the design and high quality feel of the unit. It is easy to clean and the thermal pot works well.

Packed with features, it looks good and built solid. Great for people who want full control with customization of brewing, including bloom time and water temperature. Note that the water tank is fixed and the carafe lid can get water-logged.

I love this machine. Coffee is consistant and there are several setting to adjust depending on your preference. For light roast, I like to increase the blooming and conctact time. For dark roast I like the strong setting. Would recommend for coffee enthusiest, especially for those on the run.

Best coffee maker currently on the market for under $500. My lovely wife and I extensively reviewed all current coffee makers and decided to use our hard earned money on this machine. One of the best purchases we ever made because of the ease of use, quality construction and ergonomic features. Definitely worth the price point.

Been eyeballing this brewer for a while waiting for it to go on sale and just gave up and got it. Makes a great cup of coffee and is easy to use.

I am a coffee fanatic and taste is everything. This pot makes really good coffee. We had the older Breville model and this one is a big improvement in several ways, both with design and custom brew features. I am giving it 4 stars because it is a little hard to get the coffee and rinse water out of the the lid when cleaning it. Other than that, there are no glitches with this pot and I do recommend it highly.

Owned a breville with grinder built in. It worked good for years and Breville will repair for a fair price or sell you a new model for an upgrade price. We took advantage of that, but bought this one and a separate breville grinder. Good choice. Easy to use - quiet - and the coffee is perfect. We will gift the others and bring more people into the breville universe.

Great coffee maker. Love how it brews the gold standard brew. The thermal container really keeps your coffee nice and hot for a long time. Easy to use. Would definitely recommend!!!!!
