Looking for a new coffee maker that doesn't break after a year of use. This is a solid well built machine that is great to use. I even like the carafe. Would definitely recommend this item.

Makes excellent tasting coffee with no bitterness whether for a single cup or a large pot. The thermal carafe keeps the brewed coffee at a good temperature without it getting bitter with age.

I'm tired of K-Cups and waste. I want to make good tasting coffee and and a variety of types, but didn't want to become a barista. This machine has been great. I use the single cup, cone filter, gold standard selection the most. All I really had to do was read the directions of this unit and the Breville Grinder which I also bought and I was good to go. The carafe is also excellent and I use it if I'm entertaining. I've even made coffee for family and brought it with me on visits. It holds heat very well.

This makes some of the best coffee I have had out of a drip machine. Love the multiple modes and it brews pretty quickly. It is fun playing around with the "my brew". A little bit loud but we dont mind.

This is a SCA certified brewer which means it follows a specific brewing standard including temperature throughout the cycle. I've found this better controls and lowers the acidity of the coffee which can be unpleasant to more sensitive stomachs. This makes a huge difference from an ordinary off the shelf brewer. I went with this model because I really wanted a full 12 cup option and there really aren't options for a full pot that is also SCA certified. This brewer has great options, an auto on feature, digital display, comes with various basket options, scoop, etc. So far, I'm very impressed with the quality of the coffee and the brewing options it offers. Yes it's a more expensive option but you do get what you pay for in this case.

I got a super deal from Best buy !! They had it on sale about 40% less than its retail value. I honestly dint think i was going to get it for that price but int came through. You will love the taste of coffee that this machine can do you will no regret it . Just make sure you don’t use tapwater for the best results it makes a huge difference in taste. Love it and recommend it 110% and you will too!!

Works really well. Its quick, easy and convenient. Produces really good tasting coffee.

Best prosumer brewer you can buy. Get the thermal carafe and then order the pour-over adapter kit. You have control over everything like: brew temperature, pre-infusion and bloom time, flow rate(slow, medium, fast). Also has presentings and a custom "my brew" setting available by the push of a button. I mostly use the "Gold Brew" setting for ease and a perfect cup everytime. It can also be programmed for auto start/brew for whatever time you want. You can have a hot carafe ready to drink the moment you wake up in the morning or when you get home from work. I would give it more stars if more stars were available.

We really like the Breville coffee maker. It’s high quality and makes a great cup of coffee. It has features which allow you to fine tune the taste if your really into coffee. The only negative is the cost. Wait for it to go on sale.

Great coffee pot. Only minor complaint is little water left in reservoir needs to be cleaned if not used daily.

I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on a coffee machine when I only drink it on work days. Disclaimer, I went from a cheap $30 Mr coffee brewer to this. So i don't have experience with anything in between. After a month of use I have 0 complaints though. There is definitely an enhanced taste that I never got with my cheap mr coffee maker. I had read some reviews complaining about the coffee not staying hot in the carafe. That has not been my experience at all. I can go about an hour to maybe an hour and a half and with the coffee sitting in the carafe before needing to reheat anything that I pour.

This makes a great cup of coffee. The “gold standard” is awesome! The pot keeps coffee warm for a long time. Very happy with this purchase.

Great machine . Brews very hot coffee no plastic taste or smell . No grounds in cup (used Miletta cone filter) very easy set up

You get what you pay for. If you enjoy the flavor of coffee this will make a notable difference from standard coffee pots. Its expensive, but found we have already made back our investment after a year or so by greatly cutting down on the number of times we go out for coffee. Also recommend pairing this with a grinder as well to really maximize the flavor.

Reason for 4 stars: I ordered this online w/next day shipping. Several days later I was notified that it would not be available until Jan 2nd. Oops! Because we needed a coffee maker ASAP I decided to look elsewhere. I found a store that had it in stock so went & purchased. My original order suddenly showed up the next day. Since I didn't need this one anymore I returned it to the store. As far as the coffee maker itself I would give it 5 stars. Is working really well, & we've now figured out the settings to create coffee like we like (hot & strong). It is a little pricey--more than I've ever paid, But if it lasts for years it's worth it.

Excellent quality machine. Simple to operate and produces a quality cup of coffee. The carafe keeps temperature well for at least two hours.

This is one of the best coffee makers we’ve had in a long time. It’s easy to put water in tank, easy to clean, keeps coffee hot for a long time, and it makes coffee pretty quickly.

I had a coffee emergency after my last Barrista Brain finally broke down. A bit of searching turned up this machine as a possible replacement. Quality of the brew was the most important feature, but the 12 cup capacity came in as a close second. One thing I had never seen before was the test strip to test the water during setup. It was quick and easy to use, and gave the machine a bit of extra information to help brew the coffee right. I haven't tested less than 12 cups because there is little point. Then I'd have less than 12 cups. It works great and brews quickly. And the coffee tastes great!
