Brews coffee quickly and the thermal carafe keeps coffee hot.Best to preheat water in empty carafe then empty water before brewing coffee. Remove carafe from base after coffee is done brewing.Leaving carafe on base allows heat to escape. Whole bean coffee ground just before brewing is recommended.The machine runs quite and offers many brewing options. Highly recommend this machine.

Great coffee pot. Only minor complaint is little water left in reservoir needs to be cleaned if not used daily.

The carafe keeps the coffee hot most of the day. The gold brew setting and availability to adjust multiple brew settings makes this a great coffee maker for most people.

This brewer makes the best coffee we've ever gotten from a coffee maker. It has adjustments to select the brewing temperature and coffee density, and on first startup it even has a test for the degree of scale in the water you use. We put in the same amount of water as in our old coffee maker, but it produces more coffee.

The setup can take a while but once done you will be able to make wonderful coffee for your morning or afternoon break. The machine brews flawlessly especially on the "gold" setting. Also there is a little brochure provided with the machine that explains when to buy coffee beans, preserve them as well as how to grind it and brew it. very useful ! The build quality is good, there is no complain about it.

After reading a lot of review online, I purchased this coffee machine. It replaced a ninja coffee machine that served me well for 3 years. This makes consistently great coffee and I love that I can schedule a coffee for the morning. I'd buy this again and again.

This coffee maker is miles ahead of our previous no-name drip coffee maker that was an eyesore. The coffee is great, and there's no gross grounds/residue at the bottom of the carafe. This appliance is also attractive enough to leave on out on our countertop. The coffee it produces, as my mom would say, "puts hair on your chest". Definitely recommend!!

Makes a consistent cup of coffee. The only change I would make is a feature to keep the coffee warm.

Been reviewing coffee makers for a while. This does not disappoint. Makes a great cup of coffee. Have not used the pour over or ice version yet. Well worth the money.

Love my Coffee Maker it’s just a little noisy but coffee comes out delicious.

Had it for a week and the bloom feature stopped functioning. Disappointed with Breville return policy. Won’t ship replacement until defective unit returned. Their return process 10 working days. The 10 days does not include the shipping process. You may be looking a lengthy time before getting a replacement. Also replacement can be a new unit or refurbished. Think new should be replaced with new. When unit is brewing correctly, the coffee is quite good.

We have used this device for 4 years now and added another one. The quality is amazing and the precise dripping works awesome. It’s only issue is being stainless and not able to hold warm due to lack of heating plate. If you want one I think the glass jug May come with that option.

Love the brand Breville. This coffee maker has a 12 cup thermal carafe and has many brewing options. My favorite is the gold setting. I do recommend removing the pot after brewing to prevent the mechanism of air escape. The coffee will stay hot much longer.

The best coffee pot I have ever had and at 62, I’ve had a lot. The design, quality and operation are perfect. It feels solid and the carafe does not leak like one of its competitors.
