What an upgrade. Makes the perfect toast. Air fryer is awesome. Even made chocolate chip pecan oatmeal cookies, surprisingly delicious.

My regular toaster died not too long ago and I've been long wanting a toaster oven as a replacement. I got that and more with this Breville Smart Oven Air Fyer. Not only is it a toaster oven, but it eliminates the need for me to have a separate stand-alone air frying machine (thus freeing up a bit more space in my kitchen). Overall, the oven is about the size I expected. It fit nicely on my counter and the black metal and stainless steel accents nicely match my black and stainless steel kitchen appliances. The back-lot LCD panel is cool. When you use the oven, it turns on in a cool blue color. When the oven is heating up or in-use, the LCD panel turns amber to indicate it is on. When not in use, the back light turns off, so it just looks gray with the black text. Nice way to determine whether it is on or off. A few accessories come with this oven, including a rack (necessary), and a few bonus extras including a pizza tray, frying rack, roasting rack, and broiling rack. Usage is pretty straight forward. Using the function knob, select the usage option on the screen, make necessary adjustments to temperature and time, and click the Start button. So far, I've been able to use the oven for toast and heating up a frozen pizza. I've used the air fry function cook some chicken wings and they came out just as good as my stand-alone air fryer. One reason I like this over the stand-alone one is that the basket is way larger, allowing me to cook more wings at once. This eliminates the need to have to constantly reload, stretching out kitchen time. One thing I did do, though, was use the roasting rack as a way to catch the grease from the chicken wings from under the frying basket. I didn't want the grease dripping all over the bulbs at the bottom of the oven. It made clean up much easier as I'm kind of a clean freak. Cleaning is relatively simple. The crumb tray at the bottom pulls out to dust and clean off. The inside can be cleaned with a kitchen sponge. The top heating elements are a bit difficult to clean properly because of the protective housing, but I was able to get most of it. The light bulb is protected with a cover, so that was easy to wipe clean. Overall, I've been very pleased with this multi-function oven. Not only does it look very premium, it actually eliminates the need for a regular toaster and an air-fryer. If you are on the fence of purchasing a toaster oven and are considering the Breville Smart Oven, just get it. You won't be disappointed.

Are all air fryers this loud? But its good, like the accesory option,

very disappointed in the high frequency whine when this is plugged in. Its a known problem that Breville clearly is not addressing, but I didnt know about until it was too late. You have to unplug this when not in use or remain very annoyed.

Excellent machine. This was a bit more expensive than other models but worth it. Easy to use and works quite well

We have a 9 year old unit and wanted to try out all the new features this brought forward. Very pleased!

It looks cool but it cooks unevenly. Items in front are hotter than items in back. Even for simple toast.

Works great and perfect size for our counters. The Pro version was too big. Love every feature

Nice functionality. However, the heat for toasting seems pretty weak causing a longer time compared to similar devices.

It was a Christmas gift and they loved it! They have wanted one for a long time!

Very difficult to clean because of the exposed elements and the lower pan stains. Returned it.

This review is not about the unit but about BB. Bought the unit and the order was cancelled and hour after I left the store. Has to go back to the store to find out why and they had a cheap excuse about warehouse availability. Should have known that before when I was in the store.

Great oven. The Air Fryer is amazing. Easy to clean.

Only worked for 2.5 months. I absolutely loved it. Then one day I pressed the power button and nothing. 2 things, use gloves when using this- I burn myself everytime if I don't. For the manufacturer, I would like a tray that fits on the bottom below the air basket to catch drippings. I do not care for the pull out tray underneath the unit.

As I posted on Trust Pilot: "Created a ticket on Sunday, no response still by end of day Thursday. Call wait was 90+ minutes - said they'd call back 2 days ago. Abysmal! EDIT: [I received the canned "Sorry" message]: Here we go, the canned "Sorry" followed by ALL THE THINGS TO DO THAT I'VE ALREADY DONE! If I ran my company support desk like Breville, I wouldn't need one - I'd have NO CUSTOMERS." I think that says it all... looks nice, worked for a month or so, then radio silence from Breville Support (I am assuming they actually have some).

Piece of junk. Made a loud buzzing noise the entire time (whether in use or not). It also seemed to draw a lot of power when not in use. I was super disappointed...
