Nice oven ruined by horrible high pitched whine

It made the most annoying high pitched whine that drove me crazy. It only happened when the unit was not in use. Searching reviews all over showed that this is a common problem with this specific model, none of the others. Some people can’t hear this pitch, but if you can it’ll drive you nuts.

You have to go with one of the “presets” that are in 10 degree increments. I really need more precision for some of my baking needs,

NO HEAT SEAL AROUND DOOR!!!

I stood over it and looked down and found that it has NO HEAT SEAL AROUND THE DOOR! I could see the counter it was sitting on! It only has a seal on one side! What kind of oven doesn’t have a seal around the door edge to keep the heat in?!?! Took it back and bought a Nija, it has a heat seal.

E05 right out of the box

Design Defect: CRAZY LOUD Alert sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Design defect alert. The alert sound is so loud it makes the oven unusable in the morning. You cannot turn it off. Breville knows, as they changed this in the 900 series. Dont buy this product.
