Took sometime to decide on this microwave. So far so good and totally happy with it. Used it without opening the manual. Originally thought those buttons behind the door and on the front panels would be way too confusing. Nope. Somewhere between 99.9% and 100% of all the microwaving I do can easily be done using just the front panel. Even setting the clock was easy. No user’s manual needed. If I ever have to program the favorite button behind the door, maybe I’d have to get the manual out, but I can’t imagine a situation that would require me doing that programming. Oh, and I also like the sound it makes when it’s done.

Love this microwave. It is a step up from the previous model. The soft close is great. The last model sounded like you were slamming it each time. The new sounds are so nice and you can control the volume so you can hear it in other rooms. And the defrost and reheat sensing works great. Would never buy another brand microwave.

I loved it when it worked. I bought one and it kept giving the E05 error so returned and exchanged for a new one. Within 2 weeks the new one was giving the same error and I returned it as well. If it would have worked as Intended I would give it 5 stars. I really wanted it to work, I love the design and the soft close door.

Quiet operation, convenient shortcuts, logical controls, and variable power make this a really pleasant if pricey microwave.

Very nice. Soft close door is super fancy and appreciated. Miraculously reheated my food to be uniformly warm inside but not scalding hot outside. Wow, pricey but beautiful

To start: not a big fan of microwaves. Replaced broken (old) GE Profile because my husband likes a micro for reheating leftovers. Even though the Breville was much more costly than the average micro, it was well worth it. Great job reheating pizza, great assistant in thawing meat for dinner. Easy to use....I thought dials were going to be confusing, but they are easier than buttons on old micro. Softens butter quickly and easily...no guessing. Easy display to read. Quiet while in service, and fan that runs after complete that many complained about only runs for about 30 sec or less! Basically changed my opinion of microwaves. Really like stainless interior - cleans very easily.

Features are good. Food does not dry out on reheat settings. Soft close door is nice.

Best microwave I've ever used. Slight learning curve but cooks great.

Excellent microwave. It feels very sturdy and gets the job done. Heats food evenly and quickly. The best feature about this microwave and the product like is the soft close function. While not perfect and doesn’t always close if you don’t apply enough force, the door eases into the main unit and dampens the noise I’m sure we all suffer through with most microwaves or if you have people who close the door loudly. That alone is well worth the extra price tag. If not for the price, I probably would have purchased the higher model with the grilling feature.

Great brand, fits perfectly in our space, easy to work and very modern. Customer service was quick to answer questions.

I love this microwave. The design is top notch, and the soft closing door is a great idea. The automatic reheat, thaw, etc modes work very well, and never overcooks the food.

Love the soft door closure and being able to turn off the buzzer. Don't care for the the timer after 1 minute because then it only goes in increments of 10 seconds. I wanted 1 minute and 5 seconds. Also, it doesn't seem that the heat is even. One side always seems to be left cold. The popcorn instructions left almost 1/4 of the bag not popped. ou need to add about another 30 seconds to get the whole bag popped. Other than those things its a very nice microwave.

For more than 15 years I have lived without a microwave, but during this COVID-19 pandemic, the need for one has never been higher for my family of six. So, for the past couple days I’ve been doing my research to get acquainted with what’s available, and what’s available, and after much time invested the Breville stood out amongst the others. Although it may cost you triple of a standard microwave of it’s size, I have found the build quality, features and functions to be next to none. As grandpa always told me, you get what you pay for... therefore, if your budget can afford it- spend the money, you won’t regret it!

Definitely worth the price. The self closing door keeps things quiet. You can fit huge portions in it. I’m glad I bought it.
