So quiet, holy cow! Soft close takes a bit to get used to. Let's be honest, though. You're thinking about buying this for the look and size, but don't know if it's worth the money. And you don't really care about the features, you're going to slap that 30- second button 2x for each minute and leave it on high power. If this sounds like anyone in your house, they'll like it. Just make sure you hide the receipt, it's a little much for a little microwave. Makes stuff hot, though...

Very pleasant appliance to have in the kitchen. The controls and settings are most intuitive I have seen on a microwave. The sounds are actually polite instead of annoying. The build quality is great. This is well work the extra money over other plastic-like cheap microwaves.

The best choice and price point for microwaves of this size. Love the quiet door handle feature. No more slamming microwave doors. Powerful, quiet. Either the door is binding a bit, or that’s the way the soft close function works. Have only used it a few times in the garage while our kitchen renovation completes.

I didn't realize you could love a microwave so much. This model was definitely worth the extra dollars. The extra features of heating up, defrosting and cooking features that sense when the food is done is genius. It's so easy to use. As well, the dials are much easier to use than buttons and the small detail of just pushing the door towards close and it closes itself to finish is icing on the cake. This microwave really is engineered for simplicity and customer experience. I don't think I'll ever buy anything else.

The microwave was exactly what we needed with a little bit extra. I was skeptical about the price initially but we are a Breville household, from toaster to espresso machine and loved every single one of them, so I figured why not. If you just need a microwave then this is not the one for you. But if you need one with a cool factor, features you never knew you needed but now cannot live without, and needs something that looks pretty on the counter, then this is the one.

Smart, ease of use, light, and quiet when closing/slamming door.

The microwave is pleasing to the eye but falls a bit short for the price tag. After a little over a year, the soft close door stop shutting by itself. The microwave has never been able to pop popcorn without leaving unpopped kernels and burning the rest . The reheat button will reheat your food until it’s so hot and overcooked that you don’t want to eat it anymore. I probably won’t would’ve purchased a different microwave with a cheaper price tag if I would’ve known of the issues later on.

I would give it 5 stars but there are two things/issues with this device. First: Lack of kitchen timer functionality. Second: Price versus overall value offer. There are two major positives for me. 1st: Smart reheat excellent functionality 2nd: door with silenced closing. Overall, it is a very good product.

Okay after months of solid use, I’d say this microwave is a well worth the higher price tag vs the competition. The soft door close & mute button for all the sounds make this a great plus for people who eat late at night & don’t want to disturb others. Solid build & metallic finish also makes it look great on the kitchen counter.

We have a couple Breville smart ovens and love them so when our microwave went out, I came across this microwave and gave it a try. So glad we did! It is so well built, heats our food just right and looks good! Love the stainless steel inside and my two favorite features are the smart reheat (so easy for our kids to cook/reheat their food too) and the soft close door (no more hearing the door slam shut!)

Got this one to replace an older model. So far works great with sensory reheat and defrost. Looks great and easy to use.

PROs- Nice looking. Lots of features CONs- None of the ‘Smart IQ’ features work well. Popcorn feature leaves 100 or more kernels un-popped. Smart defrost takes several times to thaw, smart reheat takes three iterations to warm food to eating temperature. My $80 GE Microwave sensor features work significantly better. Clock can’t be read when oven is not running as the digits are black and the background is nearly black. I would love to return this item.

Love my smooth wave. Its very quiet, easy to use, and cooks much better than my old microwave.

The soft close door feature is really nice. The smart reheat feature works good as long as all of the food is evenly spread out. The smart cook features that I have used so far work well.

Excellent microwave, very expensive but if you desire sleek design and power, then it's a winner.
