It’s ok

Overpriced in comparison to other pour overs for what you get. Hario Chemex and even generic amazon stuff is a better deal imo.

I have a water kettle that boils water quickly and this completes the set to be able to have a great cup of coffee on the fly.

Pour over coffee maker

Replaced this with a Chemex

The main issue for me is that the pouring spout doesn't extend into the base, so there's no place for the displaced air to travel; as the coffee drips into the base, the air gets trapped and eventually bubbles through the filter. This slows the process down, and makes it difficult to control the brewing speed (leads to over-extracted coffee). I ended up replacing this with a Chemex, which I highly recommend.

Upgrade from drip or French press

Be Careful!

While hand washing it in the sink, the carafe literally broke in my wife's hands. It worked great, but be sure you're careful when cleaning it out.
