I wanted to try making pour-over coffee at home, and the Brim Pour Over Coffee Kit has everything I needed except the coffee and the kettle. My favorite part is the laser-etched permanent filter, which will save money in the long run. I do worry about the fragility of the glass decanter and am ultra-careful when handling it; also, I wish the silicone sleeve was easier to put on the decanter. But the bottom line is that I love the rich, full-flavored coffee this beautiful kit makes. It does take time, and there’s a learning curve (made somewhat confusing by the fact that the instructions online are a bit different from the instructions included with the kit), but for leisurely weekend coffee, it’s just the ticket.

First and foremost, the look of this piece is just adorable. I just tried it for the very first time and the end result is astonishing. I’ve tried black coffee before and I’m not a fan of the taste. But since I had the opportunity to test this Brim pour-over coffee kit, I decided to try it out as is and I was very surprised. The taste, compared to an everyday coffee machine, is really impressive - just like a barista would make it (or even better). However, if you’re in a hurry, this might take too long to make. It’s an artsy way of making coffee and a relaxing way to brew your own. How does it work? It’s pretty basic. You first need to moisten the filter with hot water and then remove the excess from the brim. You then add the quantity of ground coffee you like (I used the same water/coffee quantities as I would in my normal coffee machine), add the hot water to the top to make the ground coffee fluffy and then wait 30 seconds. Afterwards, slowly pour the rest of the water around the filter to allow a maximum of taste to head right in. Wait 4 to 5 minutes as all the water goes down into the Brim and then serve. When you’re done, simply take off the protective rubber and wash by hand. Try it black at first and taste the difference. This process is worth the 7 minutes it takes to make! Giving this 5 stars because it's almost as easy as making tea. The only thing you need are filters, coffee grinds and hot water.

I've never made such fancy coffee and I had no idea how. The instructions in this kit made it so simple, and I love that there were fussy, complicated directions as well as easy, simple directions, depending on how hipster/pretentious/elaborate you are feeling. Simple, elegant, well-made design and high quality. Makes really delicious coffee, the only thing you need is a kettle and some great beans. But I bet that this would make even mediocre beans taste like a great cup.

I've made a few pots with my Brimm pour over coffee kit and can't believe how smooth the coffee is! I was really skeptical that the results would be better than my standard coffee maker but it really was a much better cup of coffee. The only issue I have is that it is strictly for one or two people and can't serve a crowd. Super easy to use!

I love this kit! The flavor and taste of the coffee is so much bolder and fuller. I love flavored coffees and there is no question the flavors are more pronounced when I make coffee with this kit verses a traditional coffee pot. The design is so sleek that it’s fun to have out as well. I would recommend this product.

This beautiful pour over kit is amazing. Comes with EVERYTHING you need to make coffee (besides the beans) right in the box! And did I mention how good it looks? Zero complaints with this wonderful coffee maker

This pour over kit is easy to use and easy to clean. I was concerned that it would be too bold of a flavor, but was pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for a smooth flavorful cup of coffee, then this kit is for you.

The Brim Pour Over Kit is my favorite for slow weekend mornings when I can savor the process of making traditional pour over. Plus, the reusable filter is so convenient and easy to clean!
