Super super fast scanner. I can scan 110 pound weight index paper with ease. My previous scanner had a roller that wasn’t as sensitive to paper that was bundled together. This takes care of that problem and helps me enjoy scanning just a little bit more.

Initially purchase Epson compact desktop scanner, but the quality of the scan was terrible (1980s fax quality bad). Returned Epson and purchased this Brother ADS-1200. Excellent for documents and business cards. The quality of the scans is fantastic. When printed and compared with an original, a scanned image looks like a photocopy.

Awesome and easy to set up and use. I recommend this over the Epson scanners. It took me less than 5 minutes to get my computer to recognize the Brother while it took nearly a half hour with its competitor. Also, it works much easier, smoother and I’m impressed by its savvy operation.

Scanner set up was fairly easy for someone not tech savvy. Scans in JPEG format, but can easily change to another format after scan completes with software/driver that came with the Brother download. No need to purchase extra software. Scanner must b connected to your computer. Overall very satisfied with product.

I have the smaller version which works well. What I like about this one is the ease of it's useage, multiply documents can be fed simultaneously. I have already referred a couple of colleagues to checkmit out.

This scanner scans fast and makes good quality clear scans. It will scan 1 sided as well as 2 sided pages. Has the feature to program a scan set up so I made a 1-side scan and 2-side scan so now I click one button and off it goes. Good size for travel. Works better elevated a bit so the outgoing pages don’t back up as they come out. I put mine on top of my printer (hp1606dn) and the paper feeds right into the printer output tray. Sometimes scans are crooked so be careful about putting them in feeder and watch for scanner pulling more than one page at a time - this seems to depend on the type of paper.

This is a great scanner to use for home or business. It scans 20 pages quickly. It also scans double-sided documents in one shot. There's no need to flip the page over. You can also scan cards as well. This scanner is definitely worth the price I paid for it.

I just wanted a simple printer to use between my computers without downloading software right away--which it states is possible in description. Yet when you go to online manual--says to download even for the 1200. Went through a lot of nonsense. Couldn't get it to open on my computer. So........ 1. The USB 3.O -Micro 3.0 --10 pin WAS included in the box --and I bought one unnecessarily. 2. I didn't need to download Twain or ICA software for a Mac. You just need to go to the App store and download the free Brother iPrint&Scan AND away you go!!! And it has some organizational options anyway. 3. As it states, for simple stuff you do not need to use the AC plug. The USB is enough. For a portable scanner--it's all I needed but poor details!!

I bought this product several months ago, and was in need of a second scanner for a different computer. Had no doubts that I wanted to go with the same product. It’s quick and great for scanning every time a new patient comes in!

This scanner is lightning fast. It is exactly what I needed for my small office. It scans anything and does it super fast. It even scans two sided and business cards. Definitely a Best Buy.

It does the job for pdf and jpg and you can easily toggle between 1 sided or duplex scanning. Customer service 1-800 number was also very helpful. For the money it is with it
