But we got it all connected and when we would scan paper it would always go crooked, so the scanned image would be crooked. Not a good look when you need to send official documents to others.

Good scans, good software, decent mid-level

It scans OK, does cards, which is nice. But make sure you buy a USB cable, otherwise you have to scan to flashdrive and copy over. If this is your main scanner, I'd recommend going for the next model up, with network access.
