    Brother Printer

    I purchased a printer from Best Buy and realized that it did not have a scan option. My bad but B.B took it in return for the FULL amount that I paid and then I bought this printer. Gosh it was so easy to install and set up! It is not loud and prints very quickly. I am very pleased with this printer and if I could give it an extra star I would. F.Y.I be sure that ALL firewalls are off prior to installing any printer. That includes Charter's Security Suite.

    I have had this printer in my small business for a couple of years and I would not recommend it. We've had to re set up the wireless connection multiple times. In fact, on one computer we opted to hardwire it instead. Many days we have to restart the computers a few times and shutdown the printer to get it to work. Also, the scanner never works. We finally just purchased a scanning app for our cell phone and use it instead. The ink doesn't last anywhere near the time that it promised. Plus there is a "brother HELP" app that downloads automatically when you install the printer but it is no help. Sometimes it causes a delay when we are trying to shutdown for the day.
