Works really well. Better for documents than pictures. A dust speck can put a streak across multiple pictures unless you're checking it every time. Really shines when you use it freestanding and SD card. Just ram those documents/pictures through and it'll scan at least 200 4"x6" photos on a charge. PC software lets you automate some scan settings, which is also nice. Wifi has been a bit of a problem, but it's probably a WSD issue, just like my network printer.

Really easy to use and set up was a breeze. Has all of the functions that I needed including the double-sided scanning.

Purchased the DS940 to scan ~1000 business cards, and to scan receipts etc. I considered to snap the cards with my phone but decided to take the scanner route as it is much simpler and reliable. The Wifi and usb connection use cases works very well, i have not yet tried to scan to the memory card but imagine that this is very handy for folks on the go. Happy for my purchase.
