For those looking for OFFICE qualify, move on to the more expensive but for home use it is great. I don't neeed it often so didn't want to spend a fotunr and this receives and sends just fine for home use.

Just the right size for a person who needs a phone, Fax, and to make a copy. Works well and is very compact.

It is a nice addition for people who have small amount of faxes to send/receive but need something that is small and easy to store too.

This purchase replaced a dinosaur HP printer that had lasted well; however, the upgraded features on this Canon has made us wonder why we waited so long! For basic home use, this model has met & exceeded our needs. Set up wasn't any problem--just need to retry getting our daughter's laptop (Apple) to tie in with it. Print quality is great for home use--our daughter promptly put it to use for her college scholarship applications. Ink consumption is no worse than the old HP, easier & less expensive to replace, & we like having colors. The copying & scanning features are really convenient & easy to follow. All around, this model delivers, especially at the $99 price.

I bought this in lieu of a multi-function machine because I had a good printer. Big mistake. The starter cartridge ribbon just prints 30 pages at the most - that is IF it doesn't get bound up. The fax machine is also single feed, which isn't handy for most people. I replaced the cartridge and the new cartridge didn't last long either. Unless you like pouring money down the drain and having a fax look more like a type-written piece of paper I would not recommend this fax machine!

I have used both very complicated and cumbersome faxes in different settings as well as simple touch and go versions. This would go in the latter version. I like the form factor and the simplicity of it. Watch out for the paper feed as sometimes it might mess up, but I think that might be due to humidity levels in the air.

It is what I wanted - simple and easy to use fax only machine. If it gets knocked off the stand it will be dead. No bounce! end of review.

was very unhappy with the fact that this machine did not use an ink cartridge but instead a carbon paper. Had no idea that old of technology was out there at all anymore. Returned the product.

i recieved the fax machine and had it up and running in 2 min i would recomend it to all my friends

This item popped up with printer and it is not, it doesn't connect to mt computer at all!!!!! unless all you want is a fax this item's limitation is not worth the money or space
