Replaced an older HP color laser with this one. It is a little noisier, but the quality is first-rate and I love that it duplexes! Pretty fast, and seems a little more reliable in terms of connecting from my wireless network. My router is upstairs, and the signal has to go through some floors and walls, and still is doing very well.

I bought this to protest inkjets and their appetite for more ink. So far, toner hasn't run out. I expect it to last a lot longer than my last printer. That was about 1.5 years (cartridges, every few months, even with no printing...). Wire-less was completely useless. The software that shipped with it was completely unusable on my Mac. The online area for Brother printers had what I needed, though. USB works fine. This prints 'good' quality, but I wouldn't try printing a high quality photo. Inkjets still rule that domain... IT IS heavier than a lowly inkjet, and it DOES take up more space than even an all- in-one inkjet.

Works great. The color looks awsome. I use this to print trifold and brochures and they look good. The only problem I have had is using a really heavy high gloss trifold paper, sometimes it will feed slightly crooked on the bypass try, which is probably due to user error. Aside from that, I love it. I have already recommended this to family.

This printer is perfect for small business and home use. Although it's a noticeably larger than a typical inkjet printer, it's not too big and it fits anywhere. It's fast and easy to use.

I love this printer I purchased it to make my own wedding invitations the print job is awesome and the colors came out just as I had envisioned. The printer is able to handle heavy card stock with any issue and printing on envolope shad been a breeze

This replaced a Canon inkjet that died. Great paper tray capacity and more than adequate ppm. I did not need a scanner/ fax so this fit the bill. Print quality can be adjusted three ways. So far no problems. Only complaint was that WiFi setup was moderately difficult for a non geek.

This is a good printer, but it does have a few problems. It has a tiny LCD screen that makes using some of the printers features very difficult. For example, because the screen was small and hard to use, the only way I could set up my WiFi was to connect the printer to my laptop with a USB cable. The wizard software and the software on the device seem clunky to me. I have been able to do everything I wanted with this printer, but some of it has been a trial to set up or otherwise figure out. I believe the software is difficult to use because it is older. The brother app is pretty good, and I suggest you try to always go thru it instead of using Google print or other print apps. They work, but I see a very noticeable drop in print quality if you do not use the app.

Good quality prints for the price. Low cost ink. Easy to set up. Only concern is the size of the printer. It’s relatively large and takes up a lot of desk space.

This printer is much better than the joke ink jet printers. Saves tons of money. I haven't totally figured out how to get cheap toner to work. I'm hoping that I can order a bunch of toner and just squirt it in. It has potential! Anyone with all the secrets please chime in! YouTube only takes me so far!

We picked this up to use at a not-for-profit. Our main concern was cost of toners and continued use. Brother does a great job wit toner pricing keeping it competitive and generally has a lot of aftermarket solutions reasonably priced. Unlike the competition however they are not meant to provide the best quality but be a workhorse. This printer was a surprise as it printed wonderfully full page flyers and documents, but we knew it wasn't a photo printer so didn't bother trying complex pictures.

Great Color printer w/ great features like duplex printing, Black & White only mode, wifi & wireless networking and very reliable work horse of a printer.

Found that my Epson, which I did like, failed and would not be able to replace for same print cartridges. Changed to Brother, and although I could not seem to hook up, we used our Geek Squad membership to have them hookup. Works faster and much improved copy quality.

Easy to setup and connect to wi-fi. Fast printer, good text quality but would not use it to print photos. This is a very good printer for the price.

It prints without a hitch over my wifi network. The set-up was a little annoying, but after I did that it runs with no issues. Does beautiful color printing as well as flipping pages automatically. A good home-office or school printer.

Have used this printer for about a month. I have it connected to my wired network. It is a little slow to start printing, but, prints quickly once the printing starts. Photo print quality is not one this printer’s strong points.
