Brother has made these low-cost laser printers for many years. I've set them up on numerous occasions for people. Businesses like doctor's offices and hotels use them daily for printing invoices. These are small size and the toner is relatively inexpensive. In May 2023, I was helping someone set one up and wasn't able to get it to work with an Apple Mac computer running Ventura. It would recognize the printer was available, but no driver was available. I went to the Brother website, and the site says the printer uses AirPrint so no drivers are available. The brand-new Mac was unable to work with this. It's probably better suited for Windows users. I'm giving this a 5-star review in all categories since I've used the same and previous models over the past 15+ years in many different offices.

I am extremely pleased with this printer in our home office. I will never go back to an ink jet. This model is very fast, responsive, and prints cleanly. We haven't had any jamming issues either. We don’t print large amounts in our home office, but it's nice to finally have a no-frills, reliable, and fast printer. I did have trouble getting it installed to the comouter; following the instructions did not work. But I called the tech support number provided and I recieved help from a very patient and kind agent who was able to troubleshoot the issue and knew the magic needed to install the printer. If you don't need color ink, and just want a back-to-basics printer with 21st century speed, this is the printer for you.

Works great--fast and very quiet--pretty easy to setup

The printer connected easily to be wireless. It is just the right size, we like how compact it is, It prints clearly, quickly and we’re happy we got the laser jet and not constantly needing ink cartridges replaced.

In comparison to other printers on the market, this little Brother HL-L2305W is a little workhorse. I'm not kidding. One of the best on the market. Should last for years. And for the money, well, my pocketbook has little left for dinner :) Consultant Brian

Fast printer and easy to connect to wifi. I wish controlling to enter pw was made easier.

The printer was a bit difficult to set up due to poor Brother software but once set up, the printer delivers :)

I got this printer so I could use wired and wirelessly. It was not plug and play on my Mac. It comes with a CD but who has a cd-drives on modern hardware? I go to the brother support site for the HL-L2305W and under driver it just says "We recommend using AirPrint. If your machine does not support AirPrint, download Brother iPrint&Scan from the App Store." Are you serious? There is a USB slot so they must be a driver somewhere. I ended up downloading the driver pack for a similar printer (I think the HL-L2300D) and the HL-2305W printer worked without a problem. Ridiculous

Gets the job done. Does what I need it to do well -- print in black and white.

I love it, professional and mobile. Easy set up and easy print.

Good printer for the most part. However, when you feed paper or labels through the front, they often get jammed or the print is crooked. That's my only complaint so far.

Works great but had a hard time getting it to hookup to my wifi
