Good personal laser printer

When buying printer also check cost of the consumables (toner and drum). Brother is consistently one of the best values for both up front cost and consumables (cost per page).

Solid Laser Printer

I originally intended to return it after but ended up using it for so many other things I decided to keep it. It prints B&W very quickly and gets the job done. A nice functional printer for the price. It's registration isn't impeccable but it has numerous loading trays and is also pretty easy to clear jams which is very nice.

Good Value for Big Print Jobs

It does not take up much space on my desk and I like the large capacity paper input tray as well as the Toner Save Mode to stretch the use of my toner cartridge.

Perfect solution if you do not print very often. Good quality. Follow set up instructions to avoid problems. Tested with font size 1 - 12 + bold/italic --- size 1 and 2 was blurry, size 3+ is perfect. I had 2 ink jets and they missed lines when not used for a few months. After driver updated they stopped working.
