I needed a new printer for B&W work, only and this one fills the bill in a great way. It produces excellent quality, saves ink, doesn't jam. I am very pleased with it and the price was quite right.

this works well as a office printer. has a good duty cycle with toner at a good price and good print quality.

Very easy to set up and operate. Prints quality black and white pages, which is all we needed in our household. I have become quite a fan of Brother products.

It's not wireless is the only drawback. I prefer brother printers because of the low price but the ink can be a little pricier than other brands

Awesome it was excellent product received we are extremely delighted

had it only a month or so, but is working fine. easy start up w/cd included. connected w/a usb 2.0 cable, printed right away. only fusty thing is have to open the back and pull down 2 green levers to get envelopes to print. but am glad switched from ink. have brother brand at work and know how to replace toner, drum w/no problem: very simple. (all in one at work, but very similar, just need printing at home so far)

It's amazing how much printers have improved. I have using my HP Laserjet printer for over 25 years. When it finally died I searched for a replacement. This Brother printer is so much better than my HP. It's so fast and the printing is so clear. I couldn't be happier. Exactly what I needed for my home computer.

Fast printing with sharp clear fonts. Easy setup for all user levels. I like how easy it is to open it to replace the toner cartridge.

Works well so far. Very sharp compared to ink jet printer. Laser should cost a small fraction of ink jet per page and be a lot more reliable.

Easy to set up and connect. Was a bit disappointed that it wasn't wireless, but still easy enough to set up and install. Works great.

purchased as a supplement to large copy/print machine in a small office. for occasional, small print jobs. small footprint, reasonable price.

Needed to replace our 11 year old printer that no longer worked. I am not very technical and was hesitant to buy and install a new printer but really needed one. After reading reviews on-line and talking to a nice, knowledgeable salesman in the store, I decided to buy this printer and try. I carefully followed the clear, easy to read instructions. No problem. In a few minutes the the old printer was gone and the new one was installed. I am very happy with the Brother printer and would recommend it to a friend.

Not difficult to install drivers, but USB cable not in pkg. A bit noisy printing. But printed multiple copies quickly & easily. A better diagram outlining all parts is needed; a quick list of details is also needed... people do not have a lot of time to wade thru technical writing details. With Best Buy pts, less expensive than replacing printer cartridges for other laser printer.

Great printer for the price. Toner cartridges last much longer than our previous ink jet printers at a comparable price. Purchased one for my son at college. Liked it so much, purchased an additional for the home office.

Have had inkjets from HP, Canon, and Epson. They all take forever to print and they all have extra level of print screens to go through. This is great. It's plugged into my router so everyone can use it. Just turn it on and hit print in the program I'm using. No extra windows popping up. Print quality is good. Got great price on sale. Would recommend to anyone.
