This Brother printer was an extremely inexpensive replacement for my broken, less-than-a-year old high-speed printer. It would have cost more to fix it than it was worth. I needed something inexpensive but high-speed, as it was right before the holidays. This Brother printer is fast, efficient, and although a bit noisy, a GREAT bargain buy for the price and quality!

I have not used this very much yet but when I have used it, it prints very fast and the printout looks very crisp. Right now I mainly print out black and white documents and was getting sick of my ink jet printer going through ink very fast. Always thought laser printers and toner were very expensive but this was the same price as an ink jet printer and the toner seems like it will be a lot cheaper than ink. I have not used very much yet but so far I have no complaints.

I like this printer because is easy to use, has a good size for my desk and the toner is not expensive.

Great printer for low volume users! Don't have to worry about inkjets drying out. If you can make do with just black and white, this is the printer for you! Easy straightforward setup. Excellent copy quality. Highly recommend!

The printer is quiet and fast. It holds a full pack of paper. The print quality seems fine and it was painless to install. The printer software came on a disk, Just let it load, plug in the printer and print your document. I love it when things work the way they're expected. Perfect printer for a college student. I have this in my room and it makes printing much easier. iI can print a stack of 50 pages before you can blink. in black and white, of course. I wouldn't use this for anything other than text documents. HOWEVER, the cartridge that is included barely lasted me 100 sheets before it needed to be replaced. Don't waste your money on the brother cartridges, I bought some grey knockoff ones on amazon (two of them for $30 or so), and so far they have lasted way longer than the included one, with no loss in quality.

I got this printer for my workhorse black and white printing. It was incredibly easy to set up, does double sided printing and is very fast compared to my old HP. My only complaint is that the ink replacement toner cartridge will cost more than the printer. I have only had it a week, so I can't comment on how it will hold up in the long term, but so far I am happy.

I gave my previous printer (also a Brother) to my son. This put me in the market for a new, single purpose printer. This Brother was the perfect answer. It gives crisp readouts and is fairly quiet for a laser. Ink is also reasonable. If you need a network printer, look elsewhere. But if all you need is a reliable black and white printer that won't dent your wallet, this printer is perfect.

An affordable Monochrome (Black ink only) basic printer. Fairly reliable and user friendly for home and smack office use. The only drawback to this specific model is that it does not make copies. I did not know that when I purchased it. I assumed that all new generation printers, regardless of cost, made copies. So, it was shocking to me. I will keep it as a basic B&W printer without "bells and whistles" and no WiFi since I do not require this. So, I recommend this model printer to those that may match my basic printer requirements.

Easy to set up, simple to install on your computer. Resolution is more than adequate for most applications. Fast first page, and even quicker following pages. 250 page paper drawer is really nice also.

1st time online purchase from Best Buy. Printer seems fine. Easy to install, does double-sided printing. Too bad it is not a multi-function machine. For this same money I have bought a similar unit in Canada that has a scanner/fax/copier function. Why do we think everything is cheaper in the US? Physically in the US so I had to buy here. It's an OK printer. If it were faster I'd give it 5 stars.

Absolutely love this printer. After 6+ months of moderate usage, it still has more than half the toner left. It's fast, quiet, reliable and affordable. If you don't need print in color (I don't) and are sick of being held hostage by the inkjet that wont print because the Cyan is out, this is an absolute no-brainer. After years of suffering with inkjets, will never look back.

The speed and quality of the prints is the best I have ever seen. Its prints on both sides without you flipping the paper like an office printer. I work from home and this saves time and has saved me money. I wish I would have chosen Brothers first. This is only a (black and white printer). I replaced my HP printer with this after I couldnt print after changing from the mail catridges program, which was costing me $20 per month to print. Shipping was prompt, as always with Best Buy.

Well how about this... it's not and HP printer product..... I have owned both for business and pleasure and believe me brother out preforms and out last HP printers.... I can not say anything about the others but brother has been the one for me. My favorite is when the machine starts telling you your toner is out But it keeps printing tell the very last drop before stopping you, this is a money saver... HP printers will stop you at some point... I have never had to replace a drum in any of my business brother printers that I have had for 8+ years however at some point it did go and I promptly replaced it with the whole machine with this one Brother - HL-L2320D.. Cheers.

The reason you want to buy from Best Buy is they will help price match with ease on site, help find the proper download plugin if you don't have CD drive for install (easy online located though), connect it to your computer with the proper usb plug (there are different ones). I really don't mind that it is not wireless. What matters most is is doesn't waste time thinking and telling me ridiculous details about expensive ink consumption habits. This printer cranks out dual side pages seamlessly without flaw. It is black and white and takes a huge toner cartridge that will last for reams and reams of paper for the cost of 1 tiny little ink cartridge of other printers. This is a must have printer. Don't waste money printing color.

I bought this as a backup printer for my smaller office and love it. The size is perfect and it works great. I recommend this for anyone who wants to save space and get all the work done. P I am getting another one for my childrens workstation for them to print reports

Easy set up. Fast and reliable which is what I need for my work at home desk.

Was a little unhappy at first because it wasn't wireless but that's my own fault for not paying close enough attention. Ultimately I think I prefer the wired connection because there's no troubleshooting. I have yet to have an issue with this printer where as my wireless one was a constant issue.

I love the speed and the printer's simplicity. Before i had a canon printer, the ink would be gone fast, and always gave me issues printing. Now, this brother printer have not had any real issues yet since I purchased a few months back.
