i loved the brother printer. it exactly what i needed

It's compact, durable. The test sheet shows excellent resolution. I'm having trouble using it; "Cups" generates .pdf files that don't go to the printer. Brother's website was down when I tried to install.. Then, I finally got the drivers. But, still not working. The disk included with the printer only appears to work with Windoze. (I have Bionic Puppy 64 8.0.) --There is a "missing link" installation instructions aren't covering.

Bought for work. Nice cost effective basic printer. Much more cost efficient than the Epson printer it replaced for ink.

I just needed a no frills printer that prints great and this printer fills the bill.

Love how fast it prints. Ink a little pricey but you get your money's worth with amount of copies.

This is a basic black and white printer. That’s it. Don’t expect the world. What it does well is print. Fast too.

Air printers are too much hit and miss I plugin To my computers and it works. Amost everything I do is print b/w much cheaper

I bought this printer as an entry level printer for printing plant pot labels for my nursery. It does a very good job for me.

I bought this printer originally thinking I could use it on my network with my router's print server. It was more complex than I wanted (or understood completely) and after a few days of using it as a USB only printer, I exchanged it for the similar model ending in DW. That one has wifi and easier networking. When I did print stuff with this printer, it was acceptable quality and printed fairly quickly. For a dedicated USB printer, I would recommend this item.

This is a cheaper version of what we use. My last laser printer's toner cost more than the printer new, so we moved to this one. Only down side is no wifi.

I initially had problems with this as the tray was not set right and the paper wouldn't feed. The printer works well, but it is noisy.

As most of Brother printers I have installed or had personally, this unit delivers on ease of use and economical printing.

Overall a great laser jet printer and the price is unbeatable right now. I would suggest anyone looking for a good laser jet printer look into get this one.
