I put in the toner, connected the usb cable to my computer, plugged it into the electrical receptacle and put paper into the tray. I did my part and it printed a 1-page document. I’ve now printed a second page so my experience is limited. Both pages looked great. On the negative side, when in removed tape from the toner cartridge, I got some toner on my thumb.

My previous Brother laser printer worked perfectly and was about 7 years old. It needed a drum replacement but at the Black Friday price it was cheaper to get a brand new printer. Double siding is fantastic!! Print quality is excellent. The set up was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this printer if you don't require color or multifunction.

Wanted a basic, affordable printer for college courses. This printer is fast, easy to use, and it is affordable to purchase toner cartridges for it. Have always like Brother Printers and this model did not disappoint.

This is my first laser printer ever! It works like a charm and I enjoy the idea that I'd run out of paper before I'd run out of toner!!! For a writer this is wondrous... now if it would only send my manuscripts out for me.. * L * Seriously, this is one of the smoothest running machines I've ever owned and I recommend it for all my friends and professional associates.

I have tried many printers for my small business but I always come back to this brand and model. Very reliable and dependable. Easy set up. Double sided printing is a great option. A little bulky but does not interfere with my work as it has been placed under the counter.

A very compact printer and no paper tray sticking out, it's all inside. Perfect for home and maybe small office.

This printer is black and white only. That is all that we needed and this printer is amazing. Fast and easy setup and you can switch between computers. Only thing that would make it better is if it was wireless. Other than that it is amazing product for the price!

This is my second Brother laser printer. I use this one for printing order forms for my business. I ran about 1200 copies through the first large cartridge refill. This exceeded my expectations for quantity from a single cartridge. This baby also fires out a copy every two seconds (way faster than my decade old HP laser). A+++

This printer is no-frills (except for 2-sided printing) but it's fast, and so far, reliable. Setup in Windows 10 was simple. I have an all-in-one color inkjet that I use for scanning, copying, and color printing, but this laser is sharper, faster, and more economical for my black and white printing.

Great gift for wife who wanted an easy printer for personal documents in her office. Reduces steps needed to the shared printer and im a hero.
