    The sleep timer is impossible to disable. This printer was purchased for use in an office with technically challenged workers who cannot override the sleep timer. It constantly stalls with jobs backed up because the sleep timer has been activated. Turning off eco mode does not help

    PRINTER WILL NOT RECEIVE JOBS

    I have downloaded, re-downloaded, updated, troubleshot, turned deep sleep off, and still CANNOT get it to receive jobs. I have to physically turn it off and back on EVERY TIME I have to print somehting. I have emailed Brother as well and no response from them. I will not be purchasing another computer from brother.

    Not quite great

    The printing is perfect, fast, and no problems sending jobs to the queue. My con is that when the printer falls into deep sleep, it will have trouble waking up and I would have to unplug and replug to get it working. First brother's printer I have had an issue with. Not enough for me to return but still an irk.

    Don't like the Sleep Mode (I have a Macbook)

    The printer was very easy to setup. As others have pointed out, I also have to power off/on the printer to use it after it's entered Sleep mode. I've had the printer 2 months and just installed the firmware v1.33 update. That took awhile. Sleep mode again seemed to interfere with the update. Otherwise, the print out quality is fast and crisp. So far, I don't regret the purchase.
