I use this printer for my mobile notary business. It’s fast, print quality is good and it’s compact. Set-up is a bit glitchy, but otherwise this is a great printer.

The purchase experience was excellent! The printer was a bit difficult to install. Instructions were not the best. Once installed, the printer works as advertised. Very happy with the purchase.

Purchased this to replace an older model that finally gave out. Best new feature is the ability to print from my I phone, yay bluetooth

It is a good printer. Easy to use and install. However, sleep time is a bit long, and it is hard to wake it up but to restart the machine.

I chose this printer as I don't need to print in color. We rarely need to print so I chose a laser printer instead of inkjet as toner lasts much longer

If you are looking for a super basic and reliable printer, look no further. The only thing that I don’t like is that the screen is super tiny. They could make a little bigger one.

I got tired of having to buy color ink every year when I really just needed to print text and greyscale. This does exactly what i need for way cheaper.

Works as expected. Setup was not as easy as it could be; you'll certainly need some sort of technical capabilities to in order to get it up and running, but not overly difficult.

Bought this printer in an emergency, worked fine for the first few prints but then paper started crimping and the ink ran out very fast. Still have it, wanna return.

This was a replacement laser printer for another equivalent Brother printer that decided to retire in place after 5 years of moderate use. After research of moderately priced laser printers and generally positive reviews this Brother laser printer was purchased for pick-up. It was not at the local BB store and took about a week to arrive for pick-up. It installed quickly through the Quick Setup Guide and Win 10 DVD. Everything functioned fine for about two weeks and then it would not print. Computer settings were reviewed and no issue was found. Removed and reinstalled 3X but no change. The printer menu screen is difficult to read but the message was paper tray not recognized and defaulted to manual feed. Reviewed the web FAQs and doubled checked everything still no change. It would print with a single sheet manual feed but not from the paper tray. After extended on hold – live contact to work the issue. Again, a repeat of earlier steps without any change. Next step was to reset printer driver through the printer https://help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/153729 . Printer menu screen is difficult to read and not back lit, took 3 attempts before printer would perform feeding from the paper tray. Nothing happened at user level and tech could not explain what happened or if it would occur again. Completely undermines my confidence in the product and would not recommend its purchased.

I didn’t do enough investigation into this printer. I thought I could also copy items. I returned the printer and bought a all in one Brother printer.

Excellent value laser printer. For kids school work and to download off the net. The toner is a little pricey but we're glad we purchased.

Quality printer with essential functions. Ink does not dry up fast due to infrequent use like inkjet printers.

Worked great when I purchased it, but stopped working after a few months. This was used in a car shop, so it wasn't the cleanest environment, but you'd still expect to at least get a year or two out of the printer.
