I purchased this and it worked great. When the toner was empty, I replaced the toner and the printer says - No Toner and will not print.

    Brother HL L2370DW defective

Product was defective. The power (on) button did not work! Tried it in different working outlets. The power button felt funny; like no resistance or contact. I did, however, appreciate the good service from the young man to whom I returned the printer. At your Bloomington, MN, store. He checked for further/replacement inventory; none available.

    Great for ChromeBook/Box

Plugged into my ChromeBox via USB, settings/advanced/add printer, printed instantly without issue. Connected printer to WiFi using WPS, nothing to type in, worked perfectly. Registered to Google Cloud Print, was then able to print wirelessly to it from my ChromeBook. Also printed fine from my iPhone. Haven't yet tried the Samsung tablet, but I'm sure it'll work from that, as well, without issue. Great little printer!

    phenomenal value and design

I must confess I haven't spent too much time with it. I have printed its internal diagnostics pages, and connected it wirelessly and printed from and iPad. Fast, quiet, smooth, very lightweight, but solid. I am very satisfied with the build and design of this printer. I am an engineer and I care a lot about these things, more than about the price of something. But guess what ? It is very affordable, too!!! The only concern I have is the price of Brother toner cartridges, but who knows, maybe I will be able to find compatible toner from 3rd parties that runs for less. Thanks for your attention, everyone, and congrats, Brother, on this particular product - also my first from your company!

i spent several hours trying to set this up.. It still does not work properly. I have to go in and set preferences each time I print for tray or sometimes if that option is not available, then manual. Sometimes it won't print for no apparent reason, and when it starts printing again it prints numerous repeats of what I was trying to get it to print earlier.

This printer gives me difficulty every time I use it, goes offline, has to be reprogrammed and often doesn't print at all. I am so disappointed, because it wasn't cheap when all it does is print in black and white. If I could return it, I would. I have thrown away $140. AND still need a printer

Toner cartridge ran out fast and is expensive.

Printer works fine but after six months and only a few dozen pages printed it wouldn't print and said the toner cartridge needed to be replaced. The Samsung printer we had before lasted years before it needed a toner cartridge. This wouldn't be a big deal except the toner cartridge costs almost as much as the printer. Seems like a bit of a racket.

The printer has become so NOISY. The wireless mode does not work. I have to try for 5-6 times to get a print. I have tried resetting the wireless setting. I have gone through youtube video to fix it. But it's not working properly. Total waste of money. I am going to buy a new one.

Hi Samir, I understand the machine is making a lot of noise. If your Brother machine is making a grinding, clicking, squeaking, or squealing noise. Here is a FAQ that may help. https://help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/151606?R3ModelID=HLL2370DW
We recommend configuring the 5 GHz band to use a unique name. If you name both networks the same thing, this may cause repeated connection loss between the Brother machine and the computer. Here is a FAQ that may help.

I bought this for home use and it works very well. Just wish it can do scanning job too. It prints fast and smooth. The set up was pretty easy. I download the app and set up from my iPhone and desktop. Both can do the job when need it. Home use is perfect and if you don't do a lot of printing.

Don't like the Sleep Mode (I have a Macbook)

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The printer was very easy to setup. As others have pointed out, I also have to power off/on the printer to use it after it's entered Sleep mode. I've had the printer 2 months and just installed the firmware v1.33 update. That took awhile. Sleep mode again seemed to interfere with the update. Otherwise, the print out quality is fast and crisp. So far, I don't regret the purchase.

Piece of garbage. Worked for intermittent use for a little over a year. Then stopped working. It won't even turn on which is a common problem for Brother printers (do a quick search). Its out of warranty so I'll have to buy another printer. It won't be a Brother.

Great value for single purpose laserprinter

Awesome replacement for my decade old HP1320 that finally died. If you time it right you should be able to get this for 80. I'm surprised it's gone up weeks after purchasing but that's probably because of matching algos against AMZN's dynamic pricing. Hard to believe you can get a solid laser printer for home use at this price these days. Pros: Great Price Laser toner (lasts longer than ink cartridges) Duplex Wifi / AirPrint Fast printing Lightweight Hassle free setup Cons: A little loud during print and cool down Durability (according to the store clerk but this remains to be seen)

I purchased a new printer. I received an open box return from Best Buy that had finger prints on the printer. I returned the device, and am now fighting with a Best Buy for a full refund. I am unlikely to purchase any electronics from Best Buy unless I get my full refund.
