Great printer for the price. However the instructions and website are a nightmare.

Prints quickly and satisfactorily. Duplexes without issue.

This printer constantly goes offline for no reason at all. Further, getting connected back to your wifi it a total pain. When it's connected, it works great, but the constant disconnect makes me regret buying this. It's a junk. Don't buy it.

This printer is working well. It took an extra hour to connect apparently because it won't work on "guest" networks. I had to research that myself. The support, obviously from out of the country wanted to go remote on my computer. Not my first choice. The "guest " problem should be in the setup instructions.

I am so happy with this printer! It does not do color, it does not scan BUT, it does not use up all my money on ink!! My previous Epson printer, OMG, I did not use it enough and the ink would dry up and the cost for ink is outrageous!!! So yes, I love this printer!!

It's rare I give a product one star on a single attribute, but in this case it's well warranted. Although the brother brand name may be a strong lure, my problem with this model brother, and probably the entire brand is in the configuration of the WiFi. Whereas vendors such as HP have streamlined the setup process and allow you to use your phone to configure WiFi this printer requires you to painstakingly key in your WiFi password using their limited buttons on the device in place of full keyboard. This is an unforgivable design flaw. A huge time sink and to make matters worse the printer does not remember the password so on power cycle you have to go through all this again. So my review stops here. If you do not value your time and are willing to devote 30-45 minutes to reset the thing, the quality of prints/value here is good, but this one issue unfogivable to me... Brother does not care to change it, they would rather keep the technology 15 years old instead of putting engineering work. For that they are garbage and I'll never buy any of their future products.

I have downloaded, re-downloaded, updated, troubleshot, turned deep sleep off, and still CANNOT get it to receive jobs. I have to physically turn it off and back on EVERY TIME I have to print somehting. I have emailed Brother as well and no response from them. I will not be purchasing another computer from brother.

Used the CD to attempt to install. It did not work. Contacted support. spent an hour with them, could not get it to work. The driver is out of date, so I downloaded the current driver from the Brother webpage. It will not install. Windows Device Manager shows it is working, however, it does not work because it will not install correctly. Waste of money.

Really like this new printer, so much better than the ink jet due to don’t have to keep buying expensive ink.

The sleep timer is impossible to disable. This printer was purchased for use in an office with technically challenged workers who cannot override the sleep timer. It constantly stalls with jobs backed up because the sleep timer has been activated. Turning off eco mode does not help

Performing perfectly! My 3rd Brother printer over 10 years.

I did everything to get it to connect, putting in the passcode through the printer, plugging it into the computer amd installing network settings and this printer will not connect for wireless printing. RETURNING IT ASAP.
