Got hooked on Brother printers a few years ago...they seem to be absolutely the best. Always reliable...seldom any problems setting them up, or using them.

Prints directly from iPhone, iPad over the network. So far no problem

This is a great entry level laser printer. It print quickly and cleanly - it also is quite simple to set up and works wirelessly with all our devices.

i have been using this for 3 months now and it does what i need it to. it is a nice, inexpensive, black and white laser printer. and i use it to print over wifi.

This is a great little printer for our home! With the kids doing online schooling and us working here, we needed a workhorse printer at a low price. This has exceeded our standards and more. Super easy setup and easy to use. We love it! One small drawback is that Brother's estimation for pages it prints on one cartridge is off. We have never received as many pages as the estimated. For example, the starter cartridge is supposed to print 700 pages, but we were at about 650 when we had to replace. However, its a small issue compared to how great the printer is!

Good purchase for the price paid. Helping a lot with kids schooling from home and needs prints quite often, Ink-jet was getting expensive. Can't complain.

This printer works well, no issues, the cost of printer ink drum is cheap too. I don't think can go wrong with this brother printer.

The printer installation as a wireless local network connection was easy and works well. UNTIL eventually it goes into Deep Sleep Mode where it will not wake up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrgARp-wOBM is a Youtube explanation of the secret ( not in manual) method of disabling DeepSleep. Here's the short version that will make sense to someone looking at the control panel. General Setup → OK → +-+- until Ecology → OK → Eco Mode → +-+- until Sleep Time → OK → +-+- until 50Min. THEN Press Back and DownArrow simultaneously. That will take you to “Deep Sleep” so press OK and +-+- until OFF. Then Press OK and it should say accepted. I did download a firmware update beyond the one that comes on the CD but did not check if it fixed the Sleep forever mode. I just leave it in ready all the time as I don't care how I heat my house. It uses quite a bit of power, dims the lights slightly, when told to print. But does print with the high quality expected when I demand. WITHOUT INK ISSUES !!!

I find this no-frills printer reliable with the black & white print only so far. It pairs with both my iPhone 8 & iPad quickly if you follow the menu on LCD readout. It doesn’t make copies but just simply duplicate copies on your computer or iCloud. Since it doesn’t have a scan ability, just use your phone to do so. Online Tech support is slow and inefficient so just ask the store customer service ahead of time for quick setup and features.

Just what you need as a basic printer. Clean print. Efficient. Easy to use. The screen is difficult and annoying but once set up, it’s exactly what you need.

My brother was easy to hook up. I like that it tells about paper jam.

This little printer has been running without any issue for months now. It just works, without any hassle. The only tweak I made to it was to disable the aggressive power savings mode. This allows the printer to stay awake enough to listen for print jobs. I am still using the original toner kit

if you are looking for black and white wireless printer that works well and doesn’t break your bank, this is it.

I bought this printer for work after having an HP unit that refused to maintain a connection to anything (I'd have to delete and reinstall the driver anytime I wanted to print anything). This thing stays connected to my wi-fi on no matter what device and wireless printing is a breeze. If you want color printing or a lot of bells and whistles this isn't your printer. But if you want superfast reliable B&W printing this unit can't be beat.

Fast and great quality printing and a great price. This is my third Brother printer in three decades. They have always lasted beyond their support. The last two were replaced, because Apple stopped supporting the drivers after 10 years each. Can't really complain. They were all used well and provided great service. We were ready for upgrades anyway, so no biggie. I'm not expecting any less from this one. Smooth operation and fast quality printing with AirPrint support. Can't ask for a better printer at this price.

This is a simple, straight-forward work horse B&W laser printer. Plug-in, not wireless, Nothing fancy. No frills to get messed up. We have another one similar. Both are attached to home-based office desk tops where we don’t need scanner functions or color. Neither have ever jammed. Generic ink is available for economy. We use other printers if we need color or elaborate printing.
