This printer is good. It prints black and white (even duplex) without much trouble. The only problems I have had with it relate to it's really clunky interface for setting up and connecting to the wireless network. With all the other easier options available now, this is glaringly bad. But the printer works well, so I can't deduct more than 1 star for that. If you're not comfortable with pushing buttons through menus to program your wireless network, then you might want to pass on this one.

Bought this for my school teacher wife so she wouldn’t have to run down the hallway when printing documents. She absolutely loves it. Keeps up with the classroom demands and she doesn’t have to worry about constantly ordering ink

Ahhh no more expensive ink this is perfect for printing out shipping labels fast and effective easy set up and WiFi works great!

Laser Jets are always reliable if you plan to print multiple doucments over a long period of time. The "ink" toner doesn't dry so in can sit idle for months until you need. They don't make the LaserJets like they used to but this is a good price for what it does.

This printer is so easy to use and compatible with your android or ios phone and you can printer super fast.

So far - it's been great. I am not a strong print user - so the true test for me will be how long it lasts. My last Brother printer (much older version of this one - a Brother HL-5250DN) lasted many many years. I like the On/off switch on the top (rather than on the side). The unit looks to be typical Brother quality - and a great price. I am very satisfied with this printer.

Simple to set up and use. Sharp, fast 2-sided prints. No-frills laser printer for those that don't need color.

If you just need to print stuff occasionally this is the printer you want. Everything on this printer just works. It prints good quality black and white and since it's laser we can use it infrequently and not have to waste money on ink every time we want to print. The repairability seems very good as well with lots of interior access.

If you just need black/white laser printing, this is your printer. It works great and is easy to setup.

Bough this while doing my MBA. Its a great printer, and I am a loyal Brother consumer. If anything, I had to say bad, is get the color model, unless you print at school. I also use this for work at times. Get a bigger toner too.

This Brother laser printer produces nice quality B&W prints. I have been using the printer for several weeks and am happy with the prints. I recommend watching the online video before you begin to unpack and set up the printer. The video provides helpful information about how to open the different compartments of the printer, and install the printer cartridge.

The printer is fast and reliable. I also like that is a laser printer. I save a lot of money by not buying the ink cartridges for an inkjet printer.
