This is the perfect printer for my telework set-up. It was super easy to install and work with my local network, as well as my applications through remote desktop connection. I have recommended it to several others from the office.

Really good printer. Just black and white, but I love that I don't have to deal with ink cartridges.

It is a very nice printer, though the set up is anything but easy. There is no “key” for the various selections to be entered with the buttons, okay, back, up and down. Several YouTube videos only muddied the waters, and just why do I want to turn off “deep sleep.” And what is deep sleep? Any way…finally got the Wi-Fi set up, one click at a time. Long passwords are a nightmare. AirPrint is cool with phones and iPads, but I had to “install” it on the new iMac. Not hard, but not clearly explained in the blue fold out “instructions.” So, it is up and running and I hope to never have to deal with it again. Just print.

Needed a basic black and white only printer for printing invoices for a small business

Over the last few years, I've stopped buying HP printers and have been very happy with Brother printers. Like their ink-jet printers, this just plain works without having to mess around with any complex setup.

Finally talk my husband into getting a new printer for his business. Last one purchased was 2009. He could not believe the newer technology for printing and scanning and the speed. Glad I motivated him to make the change in 2019!

This little printer produces quality copies of a much more expensive printer. I didn’t realize it when purchased, but it even automatically does 2 sided printing - I would recommend it to any small office or for personal use - great printer

This printer makes a great printout; however, I had to return it. There is some feature that puts the machine to sleep and then I had to turn it on to get it to print -- and that didn't always work. Part of the problem was my WiFi provider because I could only use their modem which seemed to be a problem for this printer. Also, the printer is very heavy and large in size. Not everyone is a software expert and I just found this printer to be frustrating, but I'm pretty sure that a big part of that was my own limited skill set. When you are looking for wireless, you want to just select print and that's it. You don't want to get up and fiddle with the printer

For the price its good enough for what it is made. Great for college students.

This is a workhorse printer - just keeps on printing, I had an older model and replaced with this so that I could use AirPrint. So convenient, fast AND economical. Great for small print jobs without having to mess with inks.

I needed a printer and absolutely hate inkjet cartridges so I figured id try this out. Little bit of a hassle to enter wifi password but other than that no complaints so far. Works well with my S8 phone and chromebook laptop.

True it doesn't print color, but I don't think you can beat it for the price.

printer is great - had to troubleshoot a problem and was able with the online guide to resolve the issue. this is very typical of all the Brother printers I have owned thru the years. You don't have to be a tech to own this printer!!!!!!

It fast however, it is always in sleep mode and is time consuming in getting it to restart. Contrary to ad, it goes through toner quickly and they are very spendy

Ordered online and pickup same day. 3 star is because of WiFi button. Connected to the lan not the WiFi and I’d some press the wifi button it switches to the WiFi. If you are using for WiFi it’s good. Not recommended for the wired connection

Love this printer, replaced my 15+ year old brother at the office with this one. Prints great 2 sided documents without issues. Toner quality is excellent and long lasting!
