It is small, which is exactly what i was looking for. Also, it does a really nice job printing! The only thing that sucks is that the paper jams whenever I do multiple double-sided printing! It has not even been a month that i've had this printer.

We purchase this Brother B&W printer less than a month ago for our home based business and are very satisfied. It was easy to set up and connect wirelessly with the internet, its quiet, has great paper capacity and prints very fast even two-sided. This printer is so easy to use. If you're budget minded and looking for a B&W printer this is the right one for you. This was a great investment!

My saga. Taking it out of the box and setting it up physically is a cinch. I use a chromebook. I needed to connect to my home network. It took me about 10 minutes to find on the general setup system how to connect to my network. Then I had to figure out how to use the up and down arrows to enter letters and numbers. Not immediately intuitive, so it took me another 5 minutes or so and then I had to arrow up and down to enter all the characters and numbers, another 5 minutes or so. Wasn't sure how to "enter" when I was finished putting in the code, I just pressed the "Go" bar" but not sure it worked. I was able to juggle the general settings to status - which indicated it was connected. Also the WiFi green light at that point stopped flashing and was steady. Next, I printed a label from my Amazon order returns page. The chromebook printer select menu showed me that the Brothers printer was an option. The printer worked PERFECTLY. Hope it stays this good, I will update if it doesn't. I was lucky to purchase this at lowest price it has been offered thus far.

Good quality, easy to use. Good for day to day home printing work

I was getting tired of feeding my HP inkjet printer, and its unreliable startup from sleep or wherever it goes sometimes! Happened to see a Consumers Reports article that mentioned for most people who print documents only, the B&W laser printer was a better choice, and this is the model they recommended. I had a laser printer years ago - memories of being huge and very heavy. I was much surprised to see how inkjet tech has moved to light and small! I picked this up with one hand and paper and extra laser cartridge in the other from Best Buy and could not believe how light it was. After 3 weeks of use I loved this thing. Setting up for wireless was fast and easy. Finding and downloading the latest drivers was easy also. Starts every time I press print and does it much much faster than my Envy 7155 that I will now only use for occasional color use and photographs. I expect laser operating costs will also be much less, will update if that changes

Nothing but high praise for this printer. Excellent price, runs smoothly and quietly. Set up was easy enough. Did watch an YouTube video for visual set up instructions. A visual type of learner. I use this printer for work, so I need to constantly buy ink for it. But the toner cartridge price isn't too expensive.

Easy setup and much more reliable than a regular printer.

I purchased this brother printer for my office. It is compact and very simple to set up with wifi. For an entry level laser printer you cant go wrong with this printer.

I bought this printer for home use and for my son to use for college as well (first year student), Prints nice quality and good images as well for a B&W. Printing speed is good and no issues. Would recommend a toner over an inkjet unless you NEED high quality color prints or doing high volumes. Ours is used a few times a month for printing homework or recipes so we do not need to worry about a dry product drying out unlike inkjets. I bought an HP inkjet because it was less expensive and ended up spending 5X as much replacing dried out cartridges. So low use buy a toner printer, save money in the long run.

Very pleased with this printer. Good quality prints, and excellent results for the price. Would purchase again and highly recommend for personal or home office use.

This printer works great! Replaced (4) four old 6P HP laser printers that were slow. These print really fast, great quality print and dont take up a lot of desk space.

The printer is inexpensive. It is easy to set up. A little cumbersome to connect to the network. Print quality is quite good, and I like the fact it does two sided printing. This is excellent for what I needed.

I bought this to print documents associated with my business. It was inexpensive, easy to set up and produces very good quality. For B&W much better than inkjet.
