For when it works I’d give it a 5. BUT, the printer lacks any decent sort of manual. It was difficult to set up. It worked fine for a while. Very good quality printing. It is not responding. I didn’t find anything helpful on line (I’ll keep looking). I went to Best Buy but they just gave me a Geek Squad phone number. I’ll email Brother to see if they can help. A flow chart of the different menus etc would be VERY helpful to purchasers. It shouldn’t be this hard. The fact that I had no option to print from my iPad except with a wireless printer violates the KISS Principle. There is no real need to print wirelessly. But here we are....

Set up too complicated

We had to search online for better instructions. It also had to be reset once which meant the same painful set up process. The second time, we wrote our own instructions and printed out for future reference. Use is easy. Set up, not so much

I have over half of the ink still available for me to use. Love the fact that unlike a lot of inkjet printers, the ink dries out within weeks to months. But this ink last forever. The wifi bluetooth setup is flawless!

Why? Because you have to manually type into the printer’s tiny window, your password for your router! Hassle! The other reason for good not great is the printer has to be restarted day to day in order to be recognized! That too is a hassle.
