My Brother HL-L2390 DW 3-in-1, B&W laser printer is proving to be perfect for someone who needs to do basic printing, copying and scanning on a small scale. It's replacing the last of 3 prior color ink all-in-one printers. I wanted envelope- and two-sided printing, which this printer has. Setup via a universal USB printer cable (not included) and the installation CD was a snap. It has a compact footprint and is surprisingly lightweight. Printing is super-fast and quiet; maintenance is a non-issue. Paper tray has a large capacity, so refilling is not as frequent. A month after setup, I'm half-way through the initial toner cartridge (700 pg. capacity), which is reasonably priced to replace. CONS: Envelope printing requires an adjustment from the printer's back, then can only be done one at a time from a separate paper slot in front. The USB cable is not included. However, this is proving to be a wonderful, fuss-free printer, especially if you can live without color.

We haven't had this printer long but so far it works well with good quality copies. I gave a 4 star review because the set up was not easy. I will recommend this printer with the above caveat.

Boots up fast, love the WiFi feature, prints super fast. I always replaced my ink jet printers every few months because I don’t print often and they would get clogged. Never have that problem anymore with this printer, and couldn’t go wrong for the price, especially since it has WiFi and a scanner.

This printer was easy to set up and start running. The wi reless capability was also a welcome improvement over my previous printer. The initial toner cartridge didn't last very long, but I'll know better after few more cartridges whether it was not they will last a little better.

Nice printer for a home office! Very easy to setup. It took less than a hour, which included registration, software updates, Wi-Fi connection, setting up wireless printing and scanning on my cellphone. The print quality is excellent! I got so tired of changing ink jet cartridges, which can be messy and pricey. Easy to install cartridge with no mess and less frequency. I also like only one cord, power, and with Wi-Fi it frees up a USB port. Overall I’m very happy with this printer!!

I don't know why I thought I had to buy a printer with those stupid ink cartridges when I am an office worker veteran and all we ever used at work was a laser printer. Mostly we wanted this for necessary scanning, copying, and printing things like recipes or directions, or coupons. We don't print photos so this is perfect. The ease of setting it up and use is unparalled. So easy and intuitive. No hassle setting it up or using it... the menus are easy, everything works the way it should and the quality of the printed page is great. We are very very happy with our new Brother Printer. Highly recommended!

Works great on wifi. Had no problem setting unit up. Prints look good. Does double sided printing to save paper.

Our old printer bit the dust so needed a new one. I had heard about brother printers before and the price was right on this one. The double sided feature has been great and so far all the print jobs have been done quickly and well. The only negative was The original set up was difficult because I do not have a computer. I needed help to get that done.

I had some difficulty in setting up the printer with the computer as I am technologically challenged. However with perseverance I was able to meet the challenge and I enjoy having a printer that uses toner instead of ink as the ink dries out too fast for the amount of things I usually print.

Easy set up and ready to go within minutes. The copy and scan feature is an added plus. the printer is located in the other end of the house and have no problem printing wifi. I would purchase this item again.

It was on sale when I purchased this printer, so it was a great price for what I got. Prints quickly and no smudges like my previous ink jet printer! Time will tell how long it lasts. The brand seems to be a lot better than the others offered in its price range.

I owned a HP inkjet printer for the past 5 years, and it stopped working. Been looking into laser printers because inkjet printers cost way too much for ink. Found this excellent printer for reasonable price, and it’s been working smoothly. Very satisfied with this purchase. Although I must say I got so used to color printing, that it’s taking time for me to get used to monochromic printer now, but it’s not a big deal.

Fast, wireless printing, easy setup and scans too. Not too big to sit on top of a desk and best of all a good price.

Had to replace our old HP Laser and decided to make the move to Brother under the recommendations of more than a few people. This unit is very competitively priced and it appears the toner cartridges are a bit more affordable than what we have been using. The unit was a breeze to install and get up and running. The print quality is as expected, no issues at all. I also appreciate the multi-function. The only thing left is the durability. Hopefully it lasts as long as my last laser printer - about 10 years!

Good printer, doesn’t take long to warm up as my last one did. Love the simplicity of it. Had a little trouble finding the right software to download and install when setting it up, but Best Buy geek squad plan helps with that so I didn’t mind it one bit.

I would have given 5 stars except set-up was a nightmare. My 4-year old MacBook’ operating system wouldn’t allow me to download the drivers needed. Once that issue was solved, set-up was easy. I love the print and copy quality. Scanning is easy and time efficient. I’ve owned this printer about 4 weeks and am very happy with it.

Super easy to set up. connect to wireless was pretty easy as well. Prints fast and isnt that loud so works out great for me.
