This Brother laser printer is everything I was looking for in a affordable printer and excellent choice for the home.

This is our first laser printer and replaces a 12-year-old HP 8600 ink jet. The cost of ink for the HP ink jet was the reason for the move to laser. This machine is fast, and the text is excellent. I regret that I did not get a self-feeding unit, but I don't miss the color printing. I can order prints on-line or go to my local Staples, CVS, or Rite Aid for quick color prints. The ink for the ink jet printer cost $140. This unit operates wirelessly and prints double sided. It also scans. It does not fax. It does print double sided.

We had been looking for laser printer since the ink jet got so expensive to operate. I have never owned a Brother printer before this one. The installation was easy. We hooked up about five devices through wifi and away we printed. It's has been perfect, with none of the "sleep" issues I saw in some reviews. It stays in sleep mode until someone hits "print" somewhere in the house and by the time you get to the printer, your document is ready. If I had one complaint, I know they use the starter toners to keep the initial purchase costs down but getting "low toner" notices three weeks after purchase is a little distressing. I bought toner a week after I purchased but expected the first one to last at least a month. Maybe we printed a lot more than usual. This complaint is not enough to drop a star. Especially for getting this for less than $100. Excellent value and great printing.

I Have purchased this Brother Printer thinking I can do a better and faster jobs. IT woks OK The Toner are too small and does not last much. This is good for some one who does not do a lot of printing.

I like it. Still getting familiar with this printer but so far it is fast, efficient and easy to use.

Works pretty well on home wifi with iPads. Sometimes slow to come out of sleep and find router or would give five stars. Love Brothers ease of use and almost impossible to wear one out.

Great printer for business documents or shipping labels. Black ink only. The only issues I have with this printer are: 1) the whole Bluetooth thing is nonsense. It has to be plugged into my computer in order to work. 2) one day it started to says "toner low" but then still works after that for 6 months so far without any other signs of it being low.. So it caused me to buy more ink which for all i know may dry up by the time I finally need it.

This printer just works. No complicated driver issues. Easy network setup. It will AirPrint out of the box. Super reliable.

We wanted a laser printer, because we were tired of buying ink cartridges for our inkjet printer after running less than 20 copies each time. This Brother is the right size for our needs. And Best Buy matched Amazon's price which was great!
