I bought this printer for use with my real estate business. I didn't need a color printer so I decided to purchase this one. I was easy to connect to my WiFi and setup on my laptop. I've been really happy with the printing and scanning. It's nice that the paper is stored inside and it holds a full ream. The downside of that is the printer is larger in size but I think it's a good trade off. If there's one detractor of this unit is it takes a while to manually load multi page documents. But overall I think it was a good purchase.

Works well. Not too hard to set up. Even prints index cards, but they turn slightly sideways while going through. Sometimes wish I'd gotten color. Choose this one due to the over all cost of printing was lower than the others. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Was initially sorry my 10 plus years old Lexmark finally died but am now glad it did. Excellent value, prints faster and quieter. Two sided option is nice along with scanning ability.

copy scan and print, laser black and white printer have not used it much yet, but really solid all purpose device, easy to set up. wireless too so incredibly convenient

Ive owned a few Brother printers. They are very reliable, and affordable laser printer. Not aesthetically impressive or flashy but very reasonably priced and reliability is more important in my opinion. This monochrome model uses just one toner and is simple to operate. You can purchase generic toner on Amazon for great savings.

For the price this is a really good bargain works great easy to set up and works non stop a great product. Save money and don't buy Brother cartridges the generic work great.

I just love it. No problems printing- ever. I’ve had for 8 months now and I am still on the first toner cartridge. If this was inkjet I would have already had needed to replace ink at least once. Clear, fast prints. The only thing that would make this better was if it enabled color copies but laser color copiers are still too pricey. I have no regrets on this device.

Great printer. Easy to use and set up. Wireless printing is very easy to set up and use. Love it. Great quality printing.

When my office closed down for covid-19 and I had to work from home, it didn't take long to figure out I needed a printer/scanner to connect with my laptop (I work in a law office - lots of documents). This all-in-one has been just the right pick: it was easy to install and start up, even for someone not so technically inclined, and the print quality is good. There are only two little ways I wish it were better: it would be handy to be able to feed more than one page at a time through the scanner, and I have not yet been able to get it to print a regular #10 envelope without mangling it, although it does just fine with labels. But for the price and for the amount of use it has gotten so far, I'm very satisfied.

Setup was amazingly easy, downloaded firmware update, and air print app to better communicate with devices. Thank you Best Buy for Great Price, and excellent product!

Overall, I have been very pleased. I had an older Brother printer that finally could not be turned on. One of the goals in buying this one was to add a scanner so I could get rid of an old scanner that only worked with 32-bit Windows 7. The printing works great, and if I'm scanning 1 or 2 things, it is very easy, and once configured on a computer, the scans show up automatically. I do wish the process of scanning dozens of old photos could be easier.

I just needed an efficient laser printer for basic home use. Tired of buying ink cartridges all the time. This one is a perfect fit. Nice prints and it was easy to setup.

My rating would be more accurately 4.5. The only reason this printer didn't get a 5 star is that it was a little bit confusing to get the wi-fi and scanning set up. Not too bad though, I figure what should have taken 20 minutes took maybe an hour. Be sure to read the instructions thoroughly before beginning, not just while you are trying to do it. Works wonderfully and I can print from my iPhone which is the main reason I bought. For anyone who wonders there is no fax on this model just print, scan, and copy.

Right after the schools were canceled, I got ordered this printer. Order came in quick and the set up was easy. My set up was both USB to the main computer, wi-fi to home network, and through my google account I also registered it to my google printers. iPhone immediately saw this printer whenever I wanted to print a document attachment in my iphone email. However, after 3 weeks the the printer started to show 'low toner' alert. I immediately found and ordered a third party 2 for 25 bucks high capacity toner on amazon. The 'toner low' sign lasted for about 2 weeks and by the time I received my new ones and replaced it. After all, this is a relief printer wise and toner wise. 10-year-old son needs to print, work on the math and literacy work, and then submit it online, I taught him how to scan, and I saw he can do it, it is not that complicated. Scanning is easy, printing works as advertised, this is the best printer I have ever got.

I've got 3 Brother laser printers now, this is the first all-in-one, and love 'em. I'm not doing big production jobs. But for example, printing 2 sided is a breeze, it turns each sheet and prints both sides hands off. Dynamite. Had a good service call when I had a set up problem with windows 10, they were patient and got me through it. Toner is cheaper than jet ink, and doesn't get wasted cleaning the jets every time you turn it on and off as in an ink jet machine.

I was shopping for an inexpensive printer and the Best Buy rep suggested this printer. Easy to hook up and was printing wirelessly within 20 minutes.

This is a perfect printer when all you need is to scan a few documents once in a while, and get good printouts. I like the Brother brand.

Works great with iPhone and iPad. Quick, clear prints. Like b/w with no cartridges. Toner long-lasting. I’d buy again.
