Beautiful Picture, Easy Setup, Excellent Price

I gave this TV a good rating, but for the money $248 plus tax and free delivery it’s an excellent deal. Beautiful picture and 1080p resolution. It’s a smart TV so streaming is easy. It replaces a 32” Sony Bravia, which gave out after 16 years. If you’re a perfectionist, you will find fault with the sound and the frame, judging from the professional reviews I’ve seen, who would likely give it a 3 star overall rating. Still, for an average TV viewer who wants a beautiful picture, easy setup at a reasonable price, this is a model you should consider.

Copies and scans well but terrible to set up. I wanted to set it up with usb connection and cd my MacBook cd reader kept rejecting the disc for some reason. Also the electrical cord was way too short for the desired location Had my techie friend set it up wirelessly using image print I think, and even she had issues. The printer model was not listed online where it should have been. Super terrible instructions but finally got it to work

Doesn't listen to me, flaky for envelopes/postcard

    1. I inserted a second print cartridge (which says “Yields up to 1200 pages”), and within about 500 pages (ok, that's a guess) it was warning me that toner was low. A while later, still printing beautifully, it suddenly displayed “Replace toner cartridge” and refused to print. I could not find any way to have it use up the rest of the toner. The reason I bought a laser printer instead of inkjet was to save on long-term costs. 2. If I feed an envelope manually but don’t force it in, the printer will say that there is a paper jam and make me open the front, pull out the drum, put back the drum, and close the front. I finally realized that I had to feed the envelope or postcard farther into the slot in order to avoid the false “jams.” Very counterintuitive. 3. If I select envelope from my computer when printing, the printer will still draw paper from the tray unless I have the envelope already shoved into the manual feed. The best solution I’ve found is the pull our the default tray slightly so that the machine will wait for me to get to it with the envelope or postcard.

    • Brand response from Brother
      Posted .

Hello, stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.

I haven't printed a lot of things on this yet, but it was quite easy to setup. I just ran the "wireless setup wizard" on the printer itself to connect it to my wifi. On the PC I'm using it with, I downloaded the brother software for this printer, and on my phone I downloaded the brother app. So far the one device I can't seem to get it to work with, is Alexa. I can't get it to print anything using voice commands.
