Real simple easy to use laser printer. One thing to note about this printer, it is completely wireless. It is still a good network printer.

Replaced an old inkjet all-in-one. Worked great as expected from my previous experience with Brother products.

This replaced another Brother printer. Had some issues in connecting to Wifi. Called Brother support who had me up and running in just a few minutes.

I like the printer but wish it had more setting options to fit things on the page. It is a basic printer/scanner/copier with very basic settings (no bells and whistles). So good basic printer.

I originally purchased this printer. Got it home, called Brother for assistance to set it up. It didn't work. They gave me a reference number to get it replaced at Best Buy. It worked fine for 1 month before my 2 yr warranty was about to expire. It would not stay connected wirelessly. I contacted Brother 4 times and did all the troubleshooting with them and it would still not stay connected to the wifi. Every time I wanted to print something I had to unplug the printer and then plug it back in. Then it would reset itself and connect and print the page. But I had to do this every time I wanted to print a page. I took it back to Best Buy and they are sending me a new one. However, on my receipt it says that it is $99.99 not $149.99. If I have the same problems with this new one, I think I should be able to get a store credit for $149.99 to buy another brand of printer. I've sent an email to the store manager to get this clarified, but they had better give me a $149.99 credit to buy another brand of printer.

If you’re frustrated with the total cost of ownership of many color printers, you may want to consider switching to this black and white laserjet.

Love my laser printer. I never have to worry about ink drying up. Kids print a ton of papers for school and the cartridges last forever!

My first Laser printer way better than ink jet but didn't get color which don't use very much. Around the same price and ink will last 10x more.

Great printer forboffice users printing speed is very fast. Print quality is best. Printing from Wireless system is also great feature.

A little difficult to set up. Every time I want to view something to my Android Galaxy phone it will not allow me unless I print from it. Weird. Should be able to view and then choose if I want to print.

Good choice if you are looking for multifunction device for your home office

You may waste 200 dollars or more, merely trying figure out if alternative cartridges work or not. And afterall, you'll find that high yield cartridges are NOT worth the squeeze. It's an utter waste of money, considering if you wish to print high volumes of paper for a 100 bucks a cartridge. Brother is becoming the next HP of scamming people out of superficial prestige of quality. Make sure you do your research if you plan on printing immensely high yields of text. DO. YOUR. RESEARCH. On the other hand, if you plan on only printing a little homework here there, lottidah, by all means you should be alright.
