    Would not recommend to anyone. Continually goes offline. Tried to re-install and it wouldn't. After six months it would make a doorstop. I have used Epsons, HPs and Canons without problems. Bought this one on price. Given the opportunity to do over, I would spend the extra bucks for something else

    still haven't figured out how to make the wireless connection work from my phone and computer. too many steps and very frustrating.

    The printer is fine , but the lack of documentation to display and explain various options and functionality is a real killer. I wasted hours trying to figure out (ow to use it . Finally called the manufacturer.

    the scanning option is horrible. It will not as one file. You will get an email with multiple attachments. I wouldn't recommend it.

    I was excited to get this printer. Shortly after using it the excitement went away. You get what you paid for is pretty accurate with this item. The printing is not good.

    Toner does not last too long for some reason (compared to our previous printer and we did not print any more than usual).

      We understand your Brother HLL2390DW toner cartridges did not last long. We'd like to help. The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.     It was such a pain to set up. The network issues we just ugh. And the cartridge actually goes in the FRONT and not the back...just an FYI. The biggest pain with this printer is that when it is out of use for a while and it goes to sleep it goes offline. Good luck getting it back in 'ready' state so you can print something. I would return it if i was in the mood but i just cant deal. I am mad that i did not go with a HP instead.

    was unable to connect it to my online laptop, so connected to offline desk top computer. Now the WiFi light keeps forever pulsing. Also, the printer is made so cheaply that I have to be very careful just to lift the lid. Since it can't connect with my laptop I have to transfer what I want copied to my desktop which is a huge hassle.

    Difficult to setup. Not worth the low price. I'm am a computer savvy and it still took me a few days to get it installed and setup.

    for value I would buy this printer. It does however periodically lose its wi fi connection and has to be turned off and started again

      Hi, we recommend configuring the 5 GHz band to use a unique name. If you name both networks the same thing, this may cause repeated connection loss between the Brother machine and the computer. Here is a FAQ that may help.

    My 2nd Brother and my last

    This is my second Brother printer in several years. Originally had trouble connecting to my laptop. Finally ended up having to do it through the printer itself. I've had it almost 30 days now and now the scanner is not connecting to my laptop. I'm going to try with a USB cable and if I'm not getting any better results I am going to return it. Unfortunately I am not a satisfied customer any longer.

    Seams great then stops working correctly

    So I purchased this because our last Brother printer worked great! 6 years before it died. This one was awesome for the first 4 months and then about 3-4 weeks ago it stopped printing jobs it was sent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it continues to sleep, sometimes it prints half a job and then stops. I have contacted Brother and they say it is my computer. I have been using the same computer the whole time. I have 5 computers that I have used the entire time and they all stoped working with it. I have followed all the steps given to resolve the issue to no avail. I will be buying a non brother printer since I have a home office and kids at home for school and we have to be Abel to print.
