These are great printers for everyday use. I purchased two for different offices. If you need a basic black and white printer, this is a great option. The toner lasts a long time and you can purchase a double toner when the one that comes with the printer runs out.

This printer replaced an inkjet. My hope is that the cartridges do not dry up and provide much longer service. It is a bit bigger than the average ink jet, however I don't mind as the print quality is very good and the larger size allows me to put 250 sheets of paper in it.

So color printing isn't important to us. Toner does't dry out, run out or decide to stop working! Well I know that it will run out eventually. I have to admit that I have often thought about buying a laser printer, however the price has been prohibitive in the past. Not any longer. And truthfully, toner has become cheaper as well.

Somewhat challenging setting it up for wireless printing. One of the least expensive laser printers, good value for the money. It does duplex printing, scanning, and copying.

We use this item mainly for printing school worksheets at home. Ink cartridge capacity is big enough. We have not even changed the ink cartridge it came with for 5 months. This printer is easy to set up. We use it for printing from Windows 10 computers and a Macpro. The pages come out fast. The print results are neat. We can also print from our phones using the Brothers App. However, because there is no numeric keypad like machines with fax ability, to input words such as SSID and password, we have to press UP or DOWN button many times to go through series of alphabet both uppercase and lowercase and numbers. Overall we are happy with this printer.

love this! it's working great & was easy to hook up to my computer, even though I didn't have a cd drive for it! I just got online & downloaded & hooked up! it was easy for a tech-challenged one like me! it's doing double sided for me for our prison ministry inserts (between 1200-1800 each month!) for church wonderfully! we have to send black & white so it's perfect! it was easy to add the drum & to change the toner cartridges! I'm soooo happy with this! I would highly recommend it!

A reasonably-priced, efficient workhorse. If a multi-page feeder and color printing are not needed, this is the choice. Easy set-up, reliable performance.

I bought this printer when my HP inkjet quit working. I had nothing but trouble with my last inkjet and decided to switch to a laser printer. So far it has been a great decision. The setup went easily, with no problems and it prints like a charm. IT is a little bigger than inkjets, but not huge. I don't print a lot of things, so I am glad that I won't have to worry about the ink drying up on this printer in between uses. Time will tell, but so far, I am very happy with this Brother printer.

This printer was easy to install to the wi-fi set-up that I currently have. I printed a test page with no problems. Was easy to set-up the printer with easy to follow-instructions. Since I am using a lap-top with no way to use the installation CD I used the download from brother and I had no issues. Pages print quickly and I have not had any issues with paper jams etc. You do have to leave the printer turned on and I suggest plugging into a surge protector for the unexpected. I would recommend this printer and would not hesitate to purchase it again if I ever needed to.

So far, so good. Basic black and white printer was what I wanted after spending $$$ on HP cartridges.

Bought this printer for my parents as I was tired of always troubleshooting their ink jet printer. Set up was a breeze. A toner cartridge should last them a long time and they can print directly from their iPhones or iPads. Hoping this means I can eventually ditch their PC as they won't need it "for printing". The footprint of this printer is about the size of their old one so fit perfectly in the space already created. Ease of operation can be summed up by I have received NO tech calls from them since installing this printer (a miracle) so 5 stars from me.

Overall, it does everything as advertised. It's simple to setup and easy to use. My only gripe is it does not have a ethernet port. You can only connect the printer as a local printer to a PC or via WiFi on a network. This may not be an issue for everyone but just a pet peeve of mine.
