It's a solid printer that does one thing and does it well - it prints black and white text fast and efficiently. Knocking one star off since the software as per usual for printers, is awful.

Set up in no time and never have to worry about ink drying out and all the other issues with an ink jet when you do not print much. I was told my toner cartrige could last four years.

I'm starting to regret my purchase of just a couple of weeks ago or something.
It took me forever to set the machine up using the tiny, old-school, 20-character, one-line LED screen. It's just a printer, man... I thought I could merely plug it in, push a wi-fi button to connect and off I go. Nope... I have to enter a password, one character at a time like changing the password on your TV with the remote control. Ugh.
Then I had to hope it updated but the machine kept shutting off because ECO mode or sleep mode. A "woke" feature. I had to find that setting... which is separate from Auto-Wake which is different from "woke." There is Auto-Wake and sleep mode timer. And, if you don't figure out that you need Auto-Wake to do anything like print or firmware update... you have a boat anchor.
The software on your PC or phone app is just "print" or go to their website to buy Brother products or supplies. Other than annoying me to pieces and ruining my day, it prints OK but I have seen faster. It's "OK." Not great. You get what you pay for, I guess... <sigh> Yeesh!
Two stars because it prints. Minus three stars because the connectivity and aggressive sleep mode is hateful. That I didn't predict how much I would need and hate that small, B&W LED screen is on me. My bad.

Good inexpensive black and white printer. Only issue I have is that it curls the paper, but all in all a good home printer.

It has been a great replacement for our last printer which was an earlier model that lasted 10 years. Easy to hook up to Bluetooth. Working great so far.

Excellent purchase ! I was looking for a printer for professional use and had a great surprise with a Brother. Small, beautiful and very easy to operate !

The print quality is excellent but it was a pain to set up and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to turn off deep sleep mode. Its a fine printer and a good value for a laser but why do I need to install three different softwares?

The printer is performing well, I had it for a few days and printed a few documents, they look sharp! Brother machines never disappoint me! I'm very happy with my purchase.

Printer itself is great, but the cartridge that cam with the printer must have printed 300-400 pages only and reported the low ink. Didn't expect this from genuine Brother's cartridge.
