My first laser printer--I've had inkjet for decades. I read NYTimes Wirecutter's reviews of best inkjets, and decided on a BROTHER. Reddit reviews backed up this decision. Setup required focussed attention and patience, and it is working well. I am pleased with the duplex printing as a default. For scanning and copying, I use TURBOScan on my iPhone, and then PRINT from that. The font / ink is fuzzier than inkjet, but also massively more economic. Wish I had made the switch to a laser printer sooner. It is a solid workhorse that has, so far, been very dependable.

I've always struggled finding the right printer. My needs are very basic- mostly printing documents and labels. This printer is the best for that. WiFi connectivity is seamless and always works when I go to print something. Brother is a brand with a great reputation, so I did some research before making the purchase and I'm very happy with it.

I think this is the fourth Brother printer I have owned. The only problems I've had with any of them was caused by me. I finally signed up for their toner cartridge replacement and I hope that will solve some of the problems I've had.

Easy Set Up....good quality print....works like a charm!

I got this because i don't print a lot and my inkjet kept getting clogged so I had to waste time, paoer and in "cleaning" the print heads every time i wanted to use it. Now, when i want to print, I just hit print and watch it go. I ended up getting this model because i ordered at another store (Store 'W') and they gave my purchase to simeone else. Never had a similar problem with Best Buy!

So far so good. It prints quickly with high quality. The idea was it should last much longer than inkjets. Time will tell.

Printer was easy to setup, but it went into a deep sleep mode, and I had to unplug it to get back to normal operation.

This is a great laser printer for a home office. I've been using Brother products for many years, and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this printer.
