Finally a Laser printer family
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With work and school from home we wanted a workhorse printer. This has been wonderful and at an exceptionally reasonable price. Great quality and much better than inkjets. The airplay makes it a breeze to print from our ios devices

love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so easy to use and set up. Easy instructions. Makes me wonder why I never got a laser printer before. It is heavy and bulky yes, but worth it if you have a home business or even if you don't. I feel everyone needs to print things sometimes, like if you shop online etc. Print using Wifi from phone or computer.

Very nice color laser printer!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brother - HL-L3270CDW Wireless Color Printer - White The L3270 is printer-only, so no faxing or copying as you might using an all-in-one printer. For my use, I prefer a printer-only machine. I've had several other Brother printers over the years, all laser rather than inkjet printers. They were monotone/grayscale only (no color), which worked for me since much of my office printing could get by without color. By the way, I hate inkjet printers. I've had many of those, too, before the laser printers. The ink cartridges were expensive and, the most irritating problem for me was the print head would somehow dry causing illegible or marginal quality when trying to print something. This meant that I had to clean the print heads, try it again, and if it didn't take care of the problem, clean the print heads again, and so forth. I don't want to ever go back to inkjets. So, I got my first couple of Brother laser printers and loved them - one cartridge (dry) to deal with and none of the problems I faced with inkjets. Got an upgraded one later and loved it. I decided that the costs for a color laser printer weren't much more so that's when I got the L3270. The L3270 is a good choice for your home or smaller office. The footprint of the L3270 is only slightly larger than my previous ones, so it sets in the same spot. The L3270 color laser printer requires 4 cartridges rather than 1. There are 3 different color cartridges with the 4th one being black. These take up more room than just a black cartridge for a monotone laser printer. If most of your printing is black & white, as is the case for me, you won't have to replace the color cartridges but once in a great while. It operates more quietly than my previous Brother laser printers, as well. Here are some of the specs: ⦁ Up to 25 pages per minute ⦁ Has a manual feed slot, to override the paper tray if needed and 2-sided printing (Duplex) if desired (saves paper) ⦁ Handles letter size or legal size paper (up to 250 sheet paper tray) ⦁ Handles card stock, envelopes, plain or bond paper, labels, glossy paper etc ⦁ Connect by Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB to your computer and print from your smartphones, tablets etc. Can even print through your phone's NFC if you want or Wi-Fi without using the network your printer in connected to. ⦁ Use the onboard 2.7" display to print directly from various cloud services or even social media sites. The display shows your toner levels in each cartridge and is easy to read and use for the printer settings. I have to say that the quality of the L3270's printing output is very good. Whether you're talking about correspondence, graphics or photos, it does very well. You could use its output in-office or direct to clients because the product quality is excellent. Traditionally, laser printers have been behind photo-focused inkjet printers when it comes to quality photo printing. The L3270 does a good job with photos coming very close to inkjet quality and certainly exceeds requirements for business and marketing photos. Few things to keep in mind: 1. Envelopes won't auto-feed so you have to run them through the manual feed slot 2. This thing is built to last, so no setting it on a cardboard box somewhere. It weighs about 39 lbs, but that won't be an issue with ordinary furniture. 3. Use the CD that comes with it to load the software onto your computer (of course, if you don't have a CD/DVD player then you'll need to download the software from Brother's website). I downloaded the necessary software from Brother, and everything went smoothly except when all was done and I tried to test print some things. It just said my printer was offline. The printer was hooked up by Wi-Fi and was on. Having been here before, I thought that, somehow, the drivers for the printer hadn't installed. Sure enough, they hadn't (that's why my computer said the printer was offline). Back to Brother's website & downloaded the drivers for the L3270 and everything was golden after that. I had assumed the drivers were part of the software package but not so in this case. Anyway, not the printer's fault. If you install the software from the CD, it will install everything needed. Afterward, it will update the software. Using the CD is more pedestrian, but for those not familiar with the setup it will just save you additional steps or a call to tech support. Overall I am very well pleased with the L3270. It's quiet, sets where my old printer sat, is easier to use from the onboard display than my previous laser printers, and my costs will hardly be more than before. Of course, most of my printing is black & white, but now I have the advantage of printing in color when needed.

A good buy, I’d recommend this color printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quick printing, decent price. I wish there was a model exactly like this one but with the scanning feature. I have to have a whole other brother printer with scanning function. Color is vivid and professional quality.

Great printer!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is very very high quality! It's worth the price and if you're ok with dishing out the money, the quality eclipses all the knock off brands from other retailers. Brother printers typically a little more expensive but worth the price! It's fast and efficient!

Great at home color Laser printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, I really like this printer. I needed a color printer for my at home projects I do. I wanted a laser printer over an inkjet for quality of prints. This printer does it job. I've gotten hundreds and hundreds of prints out of it so far, and only had it a few weeks. It prints exact measurements I need without tweaking settings. I do a lot of sewing and my patterns come from PDF files and test squares need to measure 1" by 1", and this printer prints exactly on the spot. My Epson xp-630 I replaced with this printer, didn't print exact 1" by 1" and ran out of ink after 100 pages to 200 pages. I still have just over half levels of starter toner left in my new brother laser printer, and I am so very happy with that. If you are looking for something for home use, I recommend this.

Excellent printer for the money!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent printer for the money. Make sure you grab on if you're in the market for a great color printer that doesn't currently force you to buy their toner for outrageous prices.

Does exactly what I need it to do!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife makes custom cups and often times she will create waterslides that you print the image and place onto a cup. We tried using 4 other printers but this is the only one that creates a good quality picture.

Two-sided printing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I sent a 2 page document to the printer and the printer prints out 1 sheet of paper. I'm thinking, "Why is this printer printing only 1 page?" As I put the paper down with one hand, I see the second page show up on the other side of the paper.

Just what we needed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looking at options to replace our home printer/copier, and talking to people who maintain and repair them, plus people who sell them, this was the the choice that met our needs at a price that was a good value. It’s simple to operate, and the quality is good.

Color Laser HL-L3270CDW
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a reasonable priced color laser printer to replace my old Brother mono laser printer. I didn't want an all-in-one. Turns out all-in-ones are cheaper but I already have one so I opted for this printer. So far it's been great. easy set up and does what it's supposed to do.

Great printer for the cost
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Haven't had any issues as of yet. Set up was quick and easy. I got this printer to make my own waterslides so I don't have to seal them and stickers for my tumblers.

Great for for the price; don't use for photos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do a lot of double-sided printing; when my last laser printer decided to print blacks as yellows and yellows as... anything under the sun... I needed a replacement. This was just about the cheapest two-sided laser printer I could find. And it works just fine, and text comes out looking quite good. If there is a down side, it's that this really, really isn't a photo printer. Obviously no laser printer will ever be as good as an inkjet printing on glossy paper. But this one is REALLY bad; colors are muddy and borders are not crisp. If I'd known how bad it would be, I might have reconsidered. But if you're doing text and vector graphics, that should not be an issue. If you keep that limit in mind, this should prove an inexpensive workhorse printer.

First laser printer I've owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always used inkjet printers and had to hassle with the cartidges clogging up and unable to clean them. I graduated to a laser and haven't looked back. Quality is excellent, faster print jobs and no clogged inkjets or printer heads. Great laser printer for the price!

Great Printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great printer especially when I purchased it on sale. I set it up as a network printer. Fairly easy setup. I had to call Brother with a question and they had very good tech support. Fast printer. Be advised that you can not use color inkjet photo paper in this printer.
