This is my 2nd Color Laser from Brother. Grwat price and quality.

I purchased this to replace a broken HP all-in-one. The speed on this laserjet is far beyond the inkjet even at an affordable price and you get color. This isn’t good if you are going to print pictures so do not consider this for any high quality graphic needs. Direct print works well right out of the box with mobile devices as well. Was able to set up on my WiFi and print to the printer with my iPhone in the matter of minutes.

I was looking for an up to date laser printer and this fit the bill. WiFi and front/back Printing were the main two features I was needing. The price is very reasonable. Yes, the cartridges are pricey but that is not an issue for me because it is not my main printer. So it will be some time before I will need to replace them. For a home office, I would recommend this printer.

After doing much online research on color laser/LED printers, I bought this Brother. It was packed very securely and, as it weighs in at about 40 pounds, it was a task to get it out of the box. Once I had it in position, I did the recommended install process and ran into difficulty with the networking setup. This surprised me because I have a Brother multifunction laser printer that installed easily. After messing with the setup for several hours I got frustrated and packed it up for return. I have installed many, many printers over the years and this one just didn't want to work for me. Before I took it back to BB I checked the website and saw that the price had dropped $50 the day after I purchased mine. Now that the price was even better, I took the receipt to BB and they cheerfully refunded the difference in price. Now I was determined to make this printer like my network. I took it back out of the box and, after removing all previous install files and drivers, simply used the WPS method of network setup. That worked wonderfully and the printer and my network were happy. Since then the printer has performed perfectly, producing sharp, detailed printed documents. It doesn't seem to like printing pictures on glossy photo paper but the pictures on regular good quality 20 pound paper are fine for presentation and newsletters. It prints very fast and makes no noise at all until you execute the print order. Quite pleased with this Brother printer.

I don't print very often, so I was tired of paying for cartridges every few times I needed to print. This printer has been great so far. Setup took 5 minutes and connectivity to laptop and iOs devices has been very easy and fast. No issues with print quality and very happy with the performance. It's a beast, so make sure you have enough space for it.

In hindsight, I should've read the dimensions more carefully before purchasing this printer. Aside from shipping issues where I received this printer two weeks later than expected, the only complaint I have is just how heavy and big it is for a printer marketed to be great for a "home office." I wanted a laserjet printer that could do color, and, after extensive research, I landed on this one having the best reviews and meeting all of my (fairly basic) needs. The printer works well, prints super quickly, was easy to set up. It's just big! I'm still trying to figure out where it's going to permanently live, but at this point, it may just permanently live on the floor because it's so heavy. Again, my fault for not reading the physical specs.

Totally incredible printer. I already have a monochrome brother printer so It was only natural to stay with brother when I needed a color printer, and this printer did not disappoint. Highly recommended!

Great Printer. I mostly got it for documents but my wife also print nice colored pictures for her custom stickers. No problems with setup. Very easy to use so far. Wayyy bigger then I thought it would be.

We’ve had this printer for a few weeks now and it’s been great. Very easy to set up and use and prints quickly and well. Love that it prints on both sides and it’s a big upgrade from our older brother printer. Only issue for us was that it was a lot bigger than our previous brother laser printer and it’s pretty heavy.

I love this printer. I have had so many issues with inkjets and I finally decided on a laser. I have had it 6 months and the ink lasts forever and the prints are quick and efficient.

Good print quality. But for same money, I was expecting it come with copy functionality. So this time I am buying Cannon laser all in one with same cost

My family absolutely loves this. First, a couple disclaimers. We don't print that many pages per month, so I can't really speak to how this would perform under high volume. Second, we haven't had to pay to replace the toner, which I know can be painful. That being said, we are very happy with this printer. The price seems just right for the quality you get. It prints fast and quality prints. It doesn't perform up to the level of the commercial printers I use at work, but I wouldn't expect it to. It is superior to the solid inkjet printers I've used in the past. We had no problems connecting it via Wifi, and it is easy to use to print documents and pictures from our computers and our phones. Other than the potential cost of toner, my only criticism would be that it is heavy and large. You definitely want to make sure you have a sturdy desk/table with plenty of space (unless you are going to keep it on the floor). For us, we don't really care that it is big and heavy, so it doesn't affect my rating.

Genuinely the best printer I've ever had. It prints anything and everything beautifully, even colorful pictures, which no printer I've owned has ever been able to do.

Great printer. I like the wifi capability and more importantly the quality of printing in color. The ink for this printer if you buy a generic ink is cheap and lasts a while. You can purchase it from Amazon. It's easy to maintain and it is quiet.

It’s been over 2 years since I had this printer and it’s still working like brand new. Prints are crisp and clear. Able to print front and back as well as on plain or card stock papers.

So far so good easy set up and good quality prints just worries about the next time have to buy ink it is very expensive but the ink it comes with last along time so that’s very nice

This my first laser printer that I bought and I love it specially for the wifi connectivity so you don’t need to have the printer so close to the computer. When you print a page the quality is amazing and the best part is this printer is cheap.
