Garbage

We just bought brand new toner, and it still says the same thing. The printer is useless and doesn't work. Totally non-functional.

Decent basic printer but no print density adust!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There is no way to adjust the print density on this model (darkness of black text). Usually it can be done in the windows print software, but not for this guy. I confirmed this with the Brother tech. The text print is O.K., but could stand to be darker. What's going to happen as the components age? If it gets lighter, you're out of luck. Dumb design.

Had internal error within 2 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer and it printed beautifully until an internal error occurred within 2 months. (We only printed maybe a half of a ream of paper through it.) Speaking with Geek Squad was painful, but Brother themselves were good to work with and were going to stand behind the product if Best Buy wouldn't have.

Less than a year old, it has stopped working

Awful

Never worked from new, blotches of ink everywhere on printed pages and so light many were unreadable. Printed many blank pages also. I am a 30 yr. fan of Best Buy and they lost me with the support I got trying to return this. I wasted $300 on this pile of garbage 6 months ago and neither Brother or Best Buy will repair it. I wasted 3+ hours on the phone. 1st and LAST Brother product.

Dead after 2 test pages

I got two test pages printed and then got an error message that wouldn't go away, "Print Unable 1E" Turn the power off and back on again. Their website said to take it to a service center. No thanks, I bought this a day ago...back to Best Buy it goes... I had an HP last 17 yrs, this is not a good start for me with Brother products.

Do not buy

Wireless setup is almost impossible. After setting up...it will "all of sudden" stop working. This will require a new setup. Starting over....there's NO SUPPORT. Horrible experience...beyond frustrating
