I bought this to replace an old workhorse HP LaserJet 5 with duplexer that finally gave up the ghost. So I guess anything made in the last two decades is going to be a big improvement for me. But I am very impressed with this printer. Very easy to set up on our home network (I went wired instead of wireless), and the speed of printing is fantastic (compared to what we were used to). Have not put a lot through it yet so I can't comment on durability or reasonable pricing of consumables, but hope they are acceptable.

This is the 3rd Printer of this kind I have purchased for my gorwing office. I bought this one because it prints quickly and wirelessly! The ink isn't too costly either. The first one I purchased is still going strong after 2 years!

We have only used it on a handful of projects so far, It is fast, and does excellent work. And it is noisy; moving all that paper fast is not silent. BTW, there was some confusion regarding exactly what versions of Windows it supports. The CD shows XP through 10, and they are correct. Yes, I'd recommend it.

Great high volume black and white printer, provides fast printing and very sharp printing. You can also print directly to it from an iPhone on the same network. Have had a problem with a few of these leaving a slight crease in the first page of each print job after a while but nothing major.

This printer prints super fast compared to my old printer. Will not recognize the 5 GHz Wi-Fi network only a 2.4 GHz.

Brother printers have always been a good buy for me. I always look for brother multifuction or plain brother printers.

We have 12 in our office for daily use. Overall printers work great. We have had to contact Brother twice about paper jam issue. Getting warranty replacement with Brother very lengthy and frustrating process. Overall, satisfied with product.

We needed a fast easy black ink printer and this has worked out great!

I have been using this printer for the last year in grad school and it is fantastic! All the functions work perfectly and printing from a mobile device is simple. It is the best printer I have ever owned.

Combine super fast printing with a paper tray that holds a full team of paper, this is a wonderful printer for a small but busy legal office.

The company I work for needed a fast black printer and this one has been great! The WiFi works great and easy to setup!

Purchased this to do fast printing in my office and find the cost per page is much less than my ink jet printers. LOVE IT

Once the WIFI is set up the printer works fine on a WIFI network. Initially, it takes 15-20 minutes to set up the printer. The WIFI password needs to be entered using up and down arrows so it takes some time. After set up, I don't need to think about it: it just works. It's not difficult but it takes some patience to set up.

I have had a number of these printers I bought for work, this model (6200) recently and previous models (5370) . The toner is very affordable and the printouts good quality. They are a very reliable bargain. We just use them so much they last a number of years of continuous use and are so cheap to replace once they finally break.
